The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Mendoza
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made its way to Mendoza - the city at the foothills of the Andes and one of the venues for the inaugural Rugby Championship.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Rory McIlroy, Sam Cane, Juan José Imhoff, Eben Etzebeth, Jake Schatz and Rob McCusker.

Morning Rava
We managed to get her back from an 800 vote deficit so sure 28 shouldn't be a problem.

Morning folks, stag are you still coming up to Ravers for the Munster game on the 15th?
Looks like I might be able to get to that game now (tickets depending) and if you are around I'd love to meet you and Rava for a quick . Not sure what you guys plans are but if you fancy it then drop me a line, planning to get down anyways.

Im not sure what I'll do yet. I'll either stay up for full weekend or else stay in Dublin on Saturday night or else just head back down Limerick on Saturday.

Morning all. Fed-up.com, I'm now into day 10 of a hacking cough, woke myself up coughing 5 times last night
Adam put up a quick post on this the other day, but I'll re-ask. Does anyone fancy being involved in a rugby podcast on Wednesday night next week. Basically we'd be (for the Journal) recording a Skype conversation looking into next weekend's AP/Pro 12 matchups, plus possibly a quick roundup of what's going on in Top14/TRC/INL/Currie.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Mendoza
Good Morning/Evening fellow pub dwellers and lurkers.
Happy Birthday Mickey T!
Settling down to watch the penultimate round of the NRL. Not as on edge as I used to be.
There's been a betting plunge on the Canberra Raiders to beat the Bulldogs who are said to be fielding a weakened team with their 'Premiership' win already guaranteed. I don't gamble but I hate that sort of thing. Canterbury should thrash them. Manly v Brisbane kicks off in half an hour over there (8km east of laptop --->) at Brookvale. The Broncos will be trying to stop their slide out of the top 8.
Dreamer, is Bertie drinking any water? Could be dehydrated? I'm just thinking out loud.
Otherwise the vet option seems best to see what's the problem? Over the years I've nursed a bit of wildlife too.
Hopefully he'll perk up soon.
Kiwi,
Canterbury leading Makos 12-11, 50th min. Tasman just scored, 16-12.
Wellington bt Manawatu 30-11,
Auckland 36 HB 29.

Congrats on your winning the Pro12 comp too, dreamer.
That was phenomenal! I saw quite a few of the pics - you are right in the thick of it.
Soon they'll be coming to you for your knowledgeable advice and carefully reading your rugby blogs... looking for that extra edge!
You could be famous come RWC 2015. " ... and now we cross LIVE to... "

Will try and help out occasionally with the podcast if you are in serious trouble Kiwi, don't have the time to devote fully to one (reason why I can't do the American Football one) but if you need a hand will try and help out.

Looks good. Only thing I'd query (and I'm not certain) is the spelling of "Sionie Timani" - it's spelled "Sione"

Evening all, Pete, Munster game isn't on tv so no streams, cameras will capture highlights for the Munster site more than likely.
Also if anyone has ever wanted to ask a question of a former NFL an Super Bowl winning running back, now is the time to do so. https://www.606v2.com/t34058-the-michael-pittman-interview
Rory, you might want to ask him some questions on weightlifting regiments, the dude is built.

I read in the paper today that Gordon Waddell died. Former Scottish outhalf, he played 18 times between 1957 and 1962 five times as captain. Toured with the Lions in 59 and 62.
Interestingly he also became an MP for Johannesburg North from 74-77 opposing apartheid
Rest Well Gordon

Man, I'm so looking forward to planning all the HC games now - away to Scarlets, ASM and Chiefs. It all involves regs teams, its going to be a total blast. And the ones in Dublin.
So I'll be asking me mates Glas, Chef and As, for lodgings.
Bring it ON!
