The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Sea of Tranquility, Luna
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made its way to the Moon, in honour of the late Neil Armstrong. One small step for man ...
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Lance Armstrong in yellow, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin moonwalking, or the shot of Joe Ansbro breaking the line.

I met Asbo and Rava tonight! Shame I had to shoot off, but very enjoyable to take in the game with the two wise men.
Give Ulster about 6/10. We're in a good place missing double digits of key players and early in the season. A lot of room for improvement in the performance it has to be said. At least they didn't take the LBP.

Nice wee win over Glasgow;

Should have been more. Messed up too many chances. But we got through.

In the end, an intercept try between Glasgow and Ulster (and a handful of NOC kicks - man, he is pants)
Cariadwr, I pinched T-Bowe's arse - lardy git!
Cheerio, Morganwg, no idea how it took you so long.
Ended up in theDuke of York in the centre of Belfast - lovely pub, full of old memorabilia - good news for the not-cooking fans - The Irish muck only added an 'e' as an affectation in recent times - typical!
Rav, you are a star - thank you. Don't waste your babies on Gib and PJ!

Morning Glas and whoever else is about.
Up early to watch some ITM Cup. I really do think this is the most enjoyable rugby to watch. On TV anyway.

Do you think?
Might get out of my bed to watch it then. I did check my sky app to see what was on, but it didn't blow my frock up.
Morning all, first league game today. League title to defend. Should be ok at home though.

Morning Munsty.
I agree it's very entertaining to watch the best in the business. I'll be switching between the Tasman-Taranaki match and the final round of the NRL. Titans-Manly on in a minute followed by Tigers-Storm and Bulldogs-Roosters.

It was quite ironic that after Lucky and Stag were discussing the five second law at the back of the ruck the other day, that Clancy struggled to count to five quite a few times. Some of the supporters tried to give him a hand as well. I'd have thought he'd be a bit of a stickler for it too.

Couple of good hits involving Filipo Levi there (giving and receiving). Not really paying attention to it though. Lots happening by the looks. Pretty open.

Good run in by Tasman prop Tim Perry. Much more convincing than Tuilagi's run in. I hope that gets shown on Scrum V tomorrow. Looked funny live.

Just thought I'd mention that myself and 'herself' have been to both the stadiums that today's televised ITM cup matches are being played in

Manly 24 Gold Coast 16 final score. Some cracking tries by Stewart and Foran.
So they'll play Canterbury most likely depending on how the Storm go at Leichhardt in the next game.

Bore da pawb, beauuuuuutiful day here so far. Hope the weather holds for the rygbi later.
Can't wait to get back out on to the terracing, I was forced to sit in the South Stand for the game against LW (although fair do's, tis quite nice over that side of the pitch too)

Just seen one of the bets gold medal's of my life with Richard Whitehead going for Team GB in the 200m T46 (I think it was T46, but the classifications confuse me!) he was so far down with 100m to but stormed through to get Gold in a WR time. Simply amazing
Glad you broke your haircut jinx Swanny!

Morning pub. It doesn't look like a bumper crowd for the LDH judging by the lack of fans on the train. To be fair a lot of them will probably be in Richmond and Twickenham already.

Afternoon Pub Dwellers
- Gibbo and me were on Skype talking about politics and language amongst other things, and it reminded me of "PCP" by the Manic Street Preachers, that's what the link was - top tune.
ASBO - if you've pinched Tommy's orse then I am more than happy in volunteering myself to kiss it better. You Weegees can be so rough sometimes! And leave NOC alone!! Just cause he's no ROG with his boot, at least he looks good in Ulster's Boyband Backline, and the chicks dig him, innit.
Hope everyone's enjoying the start to the season.
