The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Oxford
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made its way to Oxford and the only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Seve Ballesteros, Andy Fenby, Nick Williams,Tim Visser, Adam Ashley Cooper and Paul Lawrie up on the wall.

And rightly so. A certain someone may have referred to the Dragons as a "lesser team*" on the podcast last night
*or similar, I forget the precise word used

Actually Im pretty sure I spoke in their favour saying that they were unfairly written off ahead of the Edinburgh match and Rodney Parade was one of the most special grounds in the UK.

He did say positive things about the effect of Rodney Parade on Dragons in fairness.
He also talked about teams Munster might safely rest players against ...

It's a touch unfair that the Scarlets are starting with 16 men (and asking alot of Rob McCusker), but there you go.

Asbo thats so yesterday. Everyone has moved on from that.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Oxford
Office admin have just brought around cupcakes as they feel guilty that no-one in my team has a working phone yet, after we shifted floors at the weekend.
I still hate my new desk though - it's only 1m wide, vs the 1.25m we had downstairs. My laptop*, desktop pc, plus large monitor, ergonomic keyboard, mouse, phone & notepad hardly fit. The running joke around the team (aside from the big "welcome to battery analytics" sign + battery hen drawing on our whiteboard) on the team is that there's more space in each toilet cubicle than at our desks.
*I have a separate laptop for working on a new client - it logs into their system but not ours

Luckless in Munster we eat so many turnips they have their own system of measurement.
A half ounce of turnips would weight about the same amount as the Heineken Cup trophy. You'll just have to try imagine what that is.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Oxford
He's just being rested lucky, like North was last week, he's played a lot of rugby for us so far.

Forgot about that one. Remember his try against Toulouse in the last minute.
That was a top class final.
As much as I liked Leinster v Ulster the final is so much better when it involves teams from different countries.

Aye ieuan and howley were the two I thought of.

Nathan Hines might not have been born in Scotland but he's hardly a journeyman, he's a ton of caps. Anyway, i'm pretty sure there's another Scot who has a medal, just can't remember who...

Trevor Brennan
Eoin Reddan

Would Shane Jennings have won it with Leicester? Or Leo Cullen?
Oh, and that Irish flanker who played for Wasps, O'Connor was it?

Jennings and Cullen didn't join the Tigers until 2005, they won at least one league title but no HC.
Johnny O'Connor, totally forgot about him, he must have won one with Wasps.
