The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Oxford
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made its way to Oxford and the only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Seve Ballesteros, Andy Fenby, Nick Williams,Tim Visser, Adam Ashley Cooper and Paul Lawrie up on the wall.

According to Wiki JOC Wasn't part of either team that won the final, but he surely played for them at that stage.

Eric Peters (Scotland) was a replacement for Bath when they won in 1998. Their team contained Ieuan Evans and Nathan Thomas of Wales and their skipper was Andy Nichol of Scotland.

O'Connor was injured I think. Didn't he have a bad clash of heads with Jennings, ended up with a neck injury I think. He was first choice Ireland no7 at the time.

Rods, I recall JOC being Ireland's starting 7 only in 2006, which is the year Munster won. Was he also starting back in 04?

Puppy update: she's absolutely gorgeous! Slept in the 10min car journey home, running about the three rooms now and is already devouring her toys.
Name dilemma, Amber suits her but my Dad took one look at her and said she looks like a Foxy.

Will try and get pics up on fbook later if I can.
Everyone in the house just has a big on their faces.

Worth every minute of it.
I love that wet dog smell. Thrilled for you Dreamer. Like either of those names.
Off to the airport to pick up brother in a short while. Got woken an hour earlier than expected by what sounded like possums rooting.
Horrible noise... like a pair of asthmatics having a 'disagreement'. They've stopped now. Just beautiful bird noises as I type.

Nice one on the dreamer.
Re Jonny O.
http://www.wasps.co.uk/playerdisplaySS.ink?playertype=P&seasonl=2006/2007&squadno=6368
Unfortunately no HC medal for Jonny.
He returned to Connacht in early 2007, partly because he was homesick, but there was also Ton Rees who had become first choice 7.
After suffering a nasty looking neck injury in the 1st minute of the Powergen final in 2006 against Scarlets in a tackle by Alex Popham (no blame attributed), Jonny O returned from hospital treatment to join the post match party at The Orange Tree in Richmond in a neck brace. I had a chat with him and Eoin Reddan.
He was last spotted at about 2am on a N65 bus heading home to Ealing.
Legend.

I thought it was in the head clash with Simon Easterby? they were stretchered off the same time, no?
And she's still fast asleep! debating whether to wake her up soon, else she'll be wide awake all night!

Ah now I remember it was Easterbuy that injured him in the tackle wasn't it? I said Jennings earlier but it was the Scarlets game. Are you sure it was Popham?

rodders/dreamer - Popham was definitely in the tackle (distinctive blonde locks tied up on top), and Easterby was thereabouts too. It happened right below us.
Shoite final though. Enlivened my the two mascots having a pretend 'set to'.
