Actually, their defence has been very good (not so much in this match). Their main problem has been scoring tries. Now Visser's in, I think they'll do very well in the Six Nations.

The kiwis are there for the taking if you can nullify the breakdown and starve them of ball!!!
Problem is we've lost our openside, going to have to be a massive effort from the pack to win the breakdown now.

I hope Wales are watching this game. They'd learn how to distribute from the All Blacks and how to carry the ball from the Scots.

Soft try? I think that all of the AB's try's have been quality to be honest.

Watching Hore's try again, I think Cross should've got a tackle in there instead of shoulder barging just before he got over the line.

I don't know why at the breakdown Scotland are committing basically zero men each time. Are they expecting, then, for the All Blacks to disrupt their own ball, knock on or something? That's clearly going to result in an AB every single time.
Strange.
Scotland's attack is ok though. Good intent to score that 2nd try. Good signs for the next couple matches actually.

Re: Scotland vs All Blacks @ 2.30pm Sunday 11 Nov Murrayfield
Some of the Scottish defence has been very soft but they would possibly get away with this against other Six Nations sides. New Zealand ruthlessly exploit these deficiencies.
NZ getting quick ball and the defence not pressurising them is a recipe for a long day at the office.

Thats one small aspect, the fact that the AB's got into that position was amazing play before hand. Well constructed try's

Clearly keeping extra men in the defensive line is NOT working for them. They aren't suffocating the All Blacks and denying them space, quite the contrary.

Agree there, from my POV you have 2 options, keep the men in the defencive line and pressure with everything you have, or commit numbers and look to demolish and dominate the breakdown.
Scotland are doing little of either

Nice! I like watching De Luca blow his nose.
An AB getting binned! What?!
Thomson off...Scotland really need to take advantage of this.

Scotland forwards really doing well. Pity they conceded some soft tries or they could be a lot closer and fighting to take the lead.
NZ lucky not to be down to 14 for the rest of the game.
NZ also conceding a lot of penalties, could be down to 13 if they are not careful.
Wasted opportunities from Scotland though,

They just replayed the stamp on the big screen in the stadium by the sounds. I wonder if that should have been a red? Definitely a citing for that.

Yeah thats it! Falling between two schools. Still, I agree with Cari. Scotland are looking like they could be a better side this year. Sharper in attack, defence clearly needs to improve and a few other things but looks like the potential is there.
Visser- 4 tries in 3 caps! He just scores tries.

Another opportunity wasted, accidental offside.
Scotland can be pretty happy with this performance though. The other 6N countries should be worried.

Just wondered if anyone else noticed Dagg's try was off a lineout that wasn't straight and Savea's try was from a forward pass, 14 points scored with help from the officials. Scots should be just a point behind
Awesome seeing Denton giving McCaw the sit down though.
