Last Film Watched Thread
Bit of a running thread we could hopefully keep going....
Meet Joe Black - Never seen it before, thought it was great but maybe a bit too long at 3 hours. One of Brad Pitt's best performances.
Source Code - Bit of a head f**k, won't lie to you i didn't fully understand the ending.

Last night I watched Transmorphers - Fall of Man (its a prequel), Its a very very very poor rip off of Terminator and Transformers.
It was that bad I watched it all hoping for it to get better! But it failed

Agree that The Town is a great film.
Rented Get Him to the Greek & Machete. Machete is ridiculous and awesome in equal measures.

Last films I watched were Gone in 60 Seconds and The Skulls.
Got them off Lovefilm, which has totally decided to muck about with my priority list, hence me getting RED (high priority) and the other two (low priority).
Go figure.

Watched the Dark Knight on telly the other night, forgot how good Heath Ledger was in it but felt on watching it again that it dragged on a bit and Bales "Batman" voice was annoying

Got to agree Bales "Batman" voice is really annoying. Every time he speaks as Batman it makes me want to laugh at how stupid he sounds.

Watched this also - the scene where the "Jeffrey" is passed around and the aftermath is priceless - would recommend anyone to watch this film for this scene alone!

Went to see Thor at the weekend. Very good film and not the 3 hour snooze fest you get with superhero films like the dark knight and such. Loads of action and only 1hour 45. The perfect film for a Saturday night at the pictures.

The Wave (or Die Welle). It's a very good film which I would recommend people watch while it is on iplayer. Based on real events (The Third Wave), however it has been changed a little bit for example the film is set in Germany. If you don't mind watching a film with subtitles and you have some spare time in the next week I would recommend this film, but maybe you should read up on the film to see if it's your kind of thing.

also pirates four. 3d was wasted on it and it was a little thin. Then again i'm glad to report rumours that Russell Brand was in it were completey unfounded

Blitz. Quite gritty, full of violence and nothing like I expected from Statham. A solid, enjoyable, well-put-together snorter of a movie.

Watched Four Lions last night, it's quite funny but all depends on whether you're into that style of comedy, I'm sure a comedy about terrorists isn't to everyone's tastes.

Hangover 2. Film of the year so far easily, hilarious all the way through and probably even better than the first IMO.

I went to the cinema to see X-Men: First Class. It's okay as a stand alone film, but they seem to be confused whether they want to keep it in the same universe as the other four films or not.

the last film i watched was skyline, my word it was awful.
started off ok but just was going nowhere then ended. when you tell kids how to write a story the main thing is to have a beginning, middle and end. someone should have told the directer this!!
