First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to Colwyn Bay, where the Tier 2 AIs are currently taking place.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Bob Scott and Malele Kunavore above the bar.

I was born on the 19th March. So was my bro. So was the bro-in-law. Busy times.

I think I'm surrounded by other fish. It all makes no sense now. Grand. OK

"The Fish are happy to be considered hazy, since there's a certain sense of safety in that self-proclaimed netherworld. That said, they won't stay away for long, since one of their primary goals is to help others. Pisces are compassionate, charitable and will quickly put the needs of others ahead of their own. It's this kind of self-sacrifice that keeps these folks going. The flip side to their giving natures is that the oft-timid Fish are likely to be taken advantage of by less well-meaning souls.

The great strength of the Pisces-born is their compassionate and charitable nature. These folks love to help others and do so in the most imaginative of ways. It's their feeling sensibility that wins people over. "

Just home from watching eldest daughter in her school production of We Will Rock You.

Am a bit speechless and emotional if I am honest. Was just superb seeing so many kids trying to make the most of a talent and enjoying doing it. Middle daughter had her theatre school production on Sunday which was equally emotional.

Everyone is in bed now, and I am just sitting here having a beer and knowing that although I may not have two ha'pennys to rub together, my life is grand, and I wouldn't swap it for anyone elses.

Hope everyone is well. Cheers Ale

PJ I have a confession.

When we built we told all the trades we wanted to be in by "that" date even though we knew it was unlikely because we wanted to be in by February, but didn't want them to Frank Bough somewhere else in the meantime meaning we would miss the February date...

Sorry

Good morning everyone, mug of coffee and a bowl of cereal ta.

Got a school run today so had a nice lie in, bloddy lovely. Very Happy

So it's all coming out now then Glas? Any other confessions you'd like to get off your chest? I wouldn't mind so much if I had even one customer each year who said "I don't mind if you do it between "that day" and New Year's day, but come "that day" eve, it's a case of "feck orf, and don't come back until the week after New Year."

What's a bloke to do?

Good Morning. coffee

A chilly 45.4°C in Mildura.

Much nicer here though. Haven't been into the red sea off Bondi... but I might go for an early morning dip further north towards "Summer Bay".

Oh... and Ricky Ponting has announced his retirement after the Perth Test.

Did me best mate. Smile

Nearly killed me though.

I woke up Tuesday 5:30am and went non-stop until the drop off at 3pm Wednesday... then couldn't sleep until about 10pm.

Looks smart though and I think my price will be competitive but maybe the other 2 will have better staff resources, etc. I have pre-commitments from some excellent consultants and 5 potential employees.

See how we go.

It's an odd occurrence Glas. We had algal blooms (but they were light green) on rivers but never at sea!

Personally I blame the Swedish backpackers. Bad hygiene you know.... Whistle

I'll be keeping everything crossed for you, I'd love to see you get a break like that, it could just lead to a whole new future. My cousin emigrated to Oz about 12 years ago or so, he's a chippie and was doing well till he got divorced. He started up in Brisbane but moved down your way about 8 years ago. He usually comes back around this time of year, and does a few days with me - talking all foreign - "what toimes smoko maate?". Very Happy

Laugh I was toying with the same idea about Hore.

Dubai sounds like a good one. OK

Maybe R T Ponting can be one?

And how about an Irish international?

Sheesh... it's going to be 40°C here tomorrow (cooler towards the coast) and 41°C on Saturday. Erm

I wouldn't mind Glas. I have a feeling you may be right. Very Happy

It would be fair play considering the recent bumpy rides and help them get back on track for your 6N campaign.

C'mon... can someone blurt out a few names please?
