Can Ireland beat France?
First topic message reminder :
With France having lost three games in a row (Italy, Wales, England), they are now on the road to face Ireland.
One side of the argument suggests that France are "due a win" while the other says that they are on the ropes and a new look Irish side can add to their misery.
Can Ireland beat this French team?

Would they make this French team better or worse?
I don't know I'm not clairvoyant. Have to wait and see what happens.

Isn't he, completely desperate. I hate watching a decent-ish French team ruined by him. Is Trinh-Duc injured or is this just PSA being mental?

Also only ten points clear? We need at least a 20 point head start

Ireland ahead, and deservedly so. Michalak is not doing France any favours at all.

Conor Murray having a great game. Taken all the pressure of Jackson pulling the strings from 9.

I hate when they play the dropkick Murphys at the Aviva...... it usually precedes an Ireland loss......

I'd rather hear Flogging Molly- Drunken Lullabies before an Ire/Eng game

2 scrums in a row France shouldve had a penalty possibly twice, instead turnover and pen Ireland????

Interesting either Lansdowne Road Aviva is very short, or Walsh marched France back nearly 20m rather than 10.

Re: Can Ireland beat France?
Jackson and Kearney on different wavelengths- Paddy needed to go for DG, Kearney was too deep to attack.
Kearney expected the DG from PJ and Jackson expected Kearney to run it. Bad decision from Jackson.

Bit silly though when the opposition have a kicker like Para...and as I type that he misses it.

As bad as France are Ireland havn't been much better, similarly to Wales and England they just seem less pathetic than France (although it must be said England looked a more attacking force and allowed France to look better too)

France did actual play ok in the first 60 against england, it was their subs that ruined it.
Ireland are getting back to how they played against England.
