Really is silly season
Excellent player , it could happen, Juve are looking to offload two of Matri, Quagliarella and Vucinic.
They just signed Angelo Ogbonna from rivals Torino for 15 million, to go with Tevez and Llorente so far this summer.

BBC are reporting it as well. Said he wants to stay near to his newborn child, could be holding out for Liverpool to go in for him again? I can't see it happening though.

Quagliarella is not excellent. He`s ageing now and he's never been a prolific goalscorer, hence why Juventus are offloading. Also he`ll just end up at some other Italian side because they rarely leave serie a, too homesick. Turin to Norwich.......
Liverpool will not go back and pay over the odds for Ince, neither were Newcastle. Also, not a lot of people would have seen Illarramendi play but what a talent this kid is. Great signing for Madrid.

He delayed a few days ago on his decision. He had traveled to Cardiff for talks and his Dad went with him. That for me is a sure sign he wasnt 100% on going, clearly wanting his Dad to come and advise him (a fairly good idea btw).
Fair play to him, hard decision id imagine but could be wise

Fair point Crimey, but there are talking a big game at St Marys. The chairman's aiming for Champions League football. Not saying they'll get it, but they are signing players of the right age from Champions League clubs. Wouldn't surprise me to see the Saints in Europe within the next two years.
Victor Wanyama is going to be an absolute star in England, I've got no doubts what so ever, he's on 22, an absolute beast of a boy, gutted he's gone but there was no way we could turn down £12.5m + 15% sell on, he's the best player to come out of Scottish Football since Larsson left for Barca in 2004, he's got the lot but still has a lot to learn, he can still be quite rash, he was suspended for a crucial European Play-Off game against Helsingborg after a stupid red card, he also stupidly got suspended against Benfica and missed our winner take all game against Spartak in the final group game of rhe Champions League proper, he also missed the Scottish Cup final after getting another silly suspension. Thats his only real flaws though, he's fast, he can pass, shoot, strong in the tackle, great vision and has a full tank of energy for the duration of games.
I think Southampton is a brilliant move for him, injury barring he'll start upwards of 30 EPL games next season and Southampton are a club he can make mistakes at without as much scrutiny as he'd be under at a Liverpool, I predict Wanyama will be a £20m player within the next 2 years

Excellent for Norwich and has played many times for Italy. It's no real insult to be deemed surplus to requirements at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Though i'm pretty sure he'll end up at Wolfsburg.

Signing a new deal for Shaw just guarantees Southampton a bigger fee this time next summer - club know they will lose him once`s fully established himself in the EPL and especially in his position.

Not sure about Ince , on one hand he had a very good season last term but on the other i wonder if that would be the same in the PL ?
Liverpool apparantly have a 50% sell on clause so wouldn't cost a great deal to resign , but then again if someone else pays £8million or over then getting £4+ million for nothing wouldn't be bad either .

They did a deal with Diouf and Chimbonda and a few others a while back were they were on some sort of pay as you play deals until another club came in for them , they basically played and were in the shop window as it were . This could be something similar ?

I saw earlier on the news that someone has invested 20m into Donny so could be that.
Also i shall give you list of reasons why Cesc won't go to United as i mentioned earlier....
- £25m buy-out (Arsenal only)
- 1st option if another club bids
- 50% of any proceeds after first £25m
Take the hint media it's not happening

Wouldn't be too adversed to that. Your top scorer in 2011/12, and scored a fair few last year despite being suspended for a fair whack of the season.

Again, I really dont think its happening, but surely the ambition for titles is still there? And possibly a feeling that going back to Arsenal is admitting he failed? I think people can overestimate this love and loyalty of professionals.
Personally I think he'd be dumb as hell to leave as he is sure to start there even more often soon.

I dunno. Ambition was the reason he left Arsenal in the first place and if he's still ambitious he'll favour a move to Old Trafford over the Emirates.
Unless it was a money thing which once again gives Utd the advantage.

I'd say Walcott had a better season than any United winger as well. I think Arteta is just as good as Carrick.
Rumours of Ibrahimovic leaving PSG rising again, Manchester City apparently prepared to make a bid, but also could be moving to Madrid to team up with Ancelotti again. Would love to see him move to Madrid; 1. I think it would be an excellent storyline considering his past with Barcelona and 2. it would stop them sniffing around Suarez.

I'd have walcott similar to young and nani. Can be a handfull on their day but are not consistent. Valencia has been the most consistent winger of the lot bar last season where he had a shocker. You asked the same question previous years and valencia would have been in over walcott easily.
Carrick was the best cm last season in most peoples eyes even over carzola, hasnt always played to that standard but would have him in over an ageing arteta. Think hes much better defensively than arteta

I think Walcott is a much better player than both Young and Nani, I'd have him on par with Valencia but last year I think Walcott was clearly the superior player. I won't go into the debate with Carrick and Arteta as I've had it before, but basically I haven't seen any evidence that Carrick is better defensively than Arteta or can read the game better as often asserted.

Not arguing too much on the walcott point I agree on last season's form he's easily in over nani and young (I really dont rate either of them). Just not convinced hes better than valencia especially if he finds his previous form
Carrick and arteta are both teams deep playing midfielder, while we have a better defence I do think they are protected better, carrick being one of the key reasons. Its been common knowledge that everyone has been screaming out for to get a decent defensive mid. Artetas not that hes just a deep playmaker

Just think of it as common sense if Barca sell him for 30m they get 15m they would have to sell for 60m to make their money back.

John not sure you can omit gibbs for being injury prone then put wilshere in. He's a player I really like but he never plays
Would also have rooney or kagawa over podolski. Not there strongest position in your formation but both better players than podolski
