Wow that Aluko miss will haunt him for a while, cost his side the game IMO
Lovely header from Negredo, he will be there best singing i recon.
What a freekick from Toure and some decent fantasy points
Hull played class in the first half.

He should've scored once and he had another half chance. He seems to have a knack of winning headers at set pieces in both boxes.FreekShow wrote:He's got his work cut out, that's for sure.

Southampton should of had a penalty. Clear handball.
Norwich been the better side though, class goal by Redmond!
Norwich denied a clear pen at the end.

I could see from the other end of the pitch that was a handball!!
Snodgrass rugby tackled at the end so evened itself out.
Redmond seems to have placed some pubes on his chin

Now that is a ping from Jermane Pennant
Mark Hughes is such an amazing manager, offering Pennant a contract was superb management. Why QPR got rid of him ill never know.

Poor refeering again.
Baines fouled, should of 100% been a pen, however if no pen hasn't been given, why doesn't the ref boo him?
Madness.

From what I saw of Saints today, I'm struggling to see what Pocchetino is doing. He seems to have split up the Cork/Schneiderlin partnership which flourished last season, they lack pace and cutting edge when attacking from open play, and his decision to take off Lallana was baffling.
No goals from open play in the first 3 games for them

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
Id rather it be some that are going round Twitter
Young isnt good enough to be starting. Cleverley isnt good enough full stop and Giggs is too old to be a regular week in week out
I truly fear ahead of this match. Liverpool are usually always the better team in this fixture and we usually snatch a win. With that midfield I can honestly see us getting hammered today by a good 2-3 goals

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
I do fear today's game will be the usual Liverpool dominate possesion but then United get one shot on goal and score.
We really need to take our chances today, hopefully Coutinho and Sturridge continue there good form and link up well. Hopefully Skrtel steps up as his form last year was quite poor.

Am I the only one who finds it odd to celebrate a dead mans 100th birthday? Its coming to the point where I think Liverpool manufacture reasons to get the crowd pumped up for a game like this.

Finding it much easier to enjoy watching Liverpool when they haven't got that scummy Uruguayan up front. Coutinho and Sturridge are a fantastic partnership.

1-0 HT. Liverpool better, particularly in the midfield where they are dominating.
