And in a sport that actually requires fitness, Englishman Wiggins won the tour of England (which included visits to large English counties, Scotland and Wales), with Englishman Cavendish winning the final stage in the English tour.

Fantastic win for Tottenham. There only defeat this season was at Arsenal and they probably deserved a point there in the sense that both sides were just as bad as each other on that day.
Premiership looking good Anyone still going to moan about the lack of quality?

When I was a youth I used to drive my car fast all night without getting tired. It can't be that difficult.

I'm glad I fell asleep!! No complaints, City were 2 levels above Utd from what I saw but the Moyes Project is a long-term thing, not a short-term "throw lots of money at it" project. Kompany backed up my view that he's by far the best CB in the world, Rooney never got a sniff against him.

It is a race of extremes. At two hours, Singapore is the longest race on the calendar. The humidity is up about 80%; the air temperatures, even at night, more than 30C.
And there's no respite from the heat. Temperatures in the cockpits of the cars are typically 60C. There is no cool air to refresh the drivers. They are wearing four-layer fireproof suits and helmets, while doing intense physical exertion and being subjected to forces of nearly 5G during braking. Mercifully, the lateral G-forces are relatively low - with a maximum of 'only' 3.3G.

I did on my 90 mile bike ride today. More in fact if strava is to be believed. 4000 calories and I lost about half a stone in fluid.Hero wrote:Did you burn between 2-3,000 calories and lose 4 1/2 pounds in weight whilst out cruising?

Yeah it's annoying that one guaranteed relegated team now isn't. Not a terrible squad for the new manager to inherit

Pulis might come into consideration. He wasn't available when Di Canio got the job, and has a good record of avoiding relegation, and will get Sunderland organised at least.

The less said about today's result the better, apparently we were awful.
Moyes just doesn't have a clue, 442 away from home with Valencia and young and fellani in his second game.
Complete and utter madness

Wouldn't be surprised - they aren't that good - united are just abysmal and abysmally managed by a man out of his depth.

I don't think you can have ago at the ref for the decision not to give handball against Lloris. It was very very tight and an extremely hard decision, i recon he gives him the benefit of a doubt and rightfully so.
Very harsh to disallowed the goal of Ben Turner though, wins the header and i don't think the contact on Lloris was enough to warrant a foul.
David Marshall has made some superb saves, top keeper i always rated him in the Championship.
Paulhinooooooo tidy little finish at the end was probably deserved for Tottenham.

Seriously united are so so bad we made a team that lost to Cardiff and Drew with Stoke look like the second coming.
I'm expecting and accept to finish outside the pl spaces this season - at least that will get rid of moyes come may.

Swansea just simply looking a class above palace. Great goal from Michu.
Dean Moxey with a very stupid and needless foul prompting a foolish reaction from Rangel.
Simple 3 points for Swansea.

Missed most of the weekends action, but Ozil looks a class apart at the moment (from highlights, which obviously, highlight his strengths). His workrate has always been an issue, which is Mourinhos apparent issue with Mata, but when you can create magic with two touches, allowances have to be made...
As an aside, Im glad he answered the "but can he survive a cold Sunday against Stoke" question which seems to be the barometer for all foreign acquisitions. Flamini was man of the match as well, so happy about that, he never should have left the Gunners, but he too has answered questions about him

2 years ago City gave a Fergie-United an even bigger thumping and yet could only scrape to a goal difference finish ahead of United with the last kick of the season come May.The Special Juan wrote:I'm glad I fell asleep!! This game doesn't have to mean much. From what I've seen it's mainly just Arsenal fans getting over-excited because they're top of the league (having played only 1 decent side which they scraped a win against) and look like contending for something for the first time in almost a decade.

6-1 was a bit of a freak result with 3 coming in the last 5 minutes
For my money this was worse. Total annihilation.

The 6-1 game flattered City but yesterday's game was more comprehensive. Utd will do well to finish fourth, imo.TopHat24/7 wrote:2 years ago City gave a Fergie-United an even bigger thumping and yet could only scrape to a goal difference finish ahead of United with the last kick of the season come May.The Special Juan wrote:I'm glad I fell asleep!! The thing is when UTD lost under SAF they would always win the next 5 or more in a row to recover, I doubt they have that ability now, but we'll see. They look disorganized, Felleni was lost, complete passenger, highly overrated for me.
