What has happened to Scottie parker.. ?? A shadow of the player he once was
Bolaise showing the difference he makes to palace allready. Allways a threat. Yes he over plays stuff but a player that we desperately need to stay in shape

Bolasie is getting on my nerves. He's trying way too hard to make something out of nothing. And his latest mistake has led to that goal.

Unbelievable. Feel sorry for Palace, Fulham are just having one of those nights. Fulham are dog**** but somehow they've produced two brilliant goals. Fear for Palace now.

I imagine many in the stands are slagging him off all game. He reminds me of Ishmel Demontognac at Northampton. Spends too much time trying to do it all on his own and everyone in the ground sighs every time he makes yet another mistake. Before he gave away that free kick he could of just knocked it back to the left back and have him boot it 60 yards up field and they go in 1-1.mystiroakey wrote:Odd comment.CFCNick wrote:Bolasie is getting on my nerves. Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
well the knowledgable fans won't be. WE need that dimension he adds or we will not win a thing.
his play has been integral to all of our chances and the goal as well.
fulham have had two insanely amazing strikes and got ahead(basically luck!!). Anyone blaming bolaise is blind. He need someone with a bit of spark. or we might as well not even turn up!

Not really. You can blame him for ignoring the simple play and giving away a free kick that you conceded from. I know you had a chance to defend the set piece but those players wouldn't been in that situation if it wasn't for Bolasie.

Game over. That's why you put defenders on the posts. Taught from age 8 that is.

One of those nights that only seemingly happens to teams in a bad way.
1 nil up, then two wonder goals rip out the heart of Palace and game over.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Seriously losing 4-1 at home to a side like Fulham, if you want any chance of survival there the bread and butter games you need to win. No disrespect to some of the Palace players but there just 100% not this level, Joel Ward, Dean Moxey, Yannic Bolasie, Damien Dalaney, standard Championship players.
Haven't seen any of the goals, but sounds like all Fulham goals have been pings!!!

Arsenal next saturday means no expectation. A free hit if you will. You can look forward to that game.

Holloway wont learn. You can see Palace making the same mistakes that Holloway's teams always do. Its not that I want to see Palace specifically go down, but I do want them relegation spots filled.
I dont think youve watched enough Stoke this season Duty, I think Hughes fully understands the job he has to do there and will get them over the line whilst changing things. Cardiff I do worry about, then ourselves Norwich, Hull and Fulham or West Brom could float around the mix.

We're gonna find out a lot more about us in the coming weeks Wilko, at the moment I'm not too worried, but we need to turn performances into points.
Stoke like Duty I'm a little worried about where the goals are coming from. The Brittania certainly isn't the fortress that it was under Pulis now

Very tough job for Hughes there though, changing the whole attacking style of play with the same players ain't easy. Plus it don't seem like he exactly has the fans onside (or at least it didn't when I was there)

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
He is a good manager and a top bloke.. I can't think of anyone better with this lot. If we get anyone else we are throwing good money after bad and when we go down we could be in a worse position by losing that manager straight away, then we will get another manager(that circle never ever ends!!)
There is literally no point getting anyone else. We are not staying up, holloway will be class again in the champs, and once (if) he gets us up again with a squad that can compete at the lower level of the prem then we can say- thanks mate, but we are going for a proper prem manager

You can't just accept relegation.
Who knows if you'll ever get back into the Prem if you go down.
You gotta seize the moment, or else it may never come round again.
If I was Palace, I'd make the change.

didnt get balls to him, if we have players like him and rvw we need to give them something to work with which we havent really been doing so far this season at all.Olly wrote:Yeah I couldn't believe some of the football I was watching, just running rings round us.
And was good to see Ruddy back to pre-injury form. Hopefully will keep it up, was disappointed by Hooper.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
no way - its ludicrous, we have more chance staying up by playing the long game right
Too many teams are doing it the wrong way. Palace has been there and done that 4 times already and almost ceased to exist because of it.
Hopefully the board will use their wisdom well and not make these stupid snap decisions.. We will come back stronger and we will do it right

Hull won't go down, they have been playing superb this season, Bruce got his signings spot on.
Im not calling anyone to go down yet, but losing 4-1 at home to Fulham speaks for itself and Palace have a lot of hard work if they want any chance.
Norwich, West Ham and Stoke will be fine.
