OK so Andrew Luck stinks in a postseason loss as does Andy Dalton.
Andy Dalton has a better regular season than Andrew Luck - better completion percentage, more yards, more TDs, better rating.
According to the NFL media Andrew Luck is awesome but Andy Dalton stinks.
Bugs me how these guys have their little pet favourites that can do no wrong.

Surprised at that one. Thought he might have fancied Detroit with the weapons they have. They're a team that just needs pointed in the direction with a bit of discipline. More of a project to be undertaken in Tennessee. Maybe that's the attraction? Maybe he just likes Nashville better than Detroit? Maybe he's more of a Country guy than a Motown guy???

Right so you've seen both those guys play right? Because it's fairly obvious who's much better

Yeah I'm surprised Whisenhunt took that job over Detroit, especially considering his struggles to find a QB in Arizona

Yeah, I've seen them play. Was just being a bit tongue in cheek here about how much slack Luck is being cut by the media for his 4 picks in a playoff game. The media types love him.... but at the end of the day he's a number 1 pick that threw 4 picks in a playoff game. Where's the chat about his big game temperament??

It's very much a legit question for me too, threw 3 the week before as well. I'd probably put it down to trying to hard tbh, he just tried to fit the ball in windows that weren't there sometimes, that'll come with experience. Some were just bad throws though. Tbf though he's getting hit every play, that O-line is just awful awful awful

Whisenhunt comes from the neighbouring Georgia and his first coaching job was at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Maybe Detroit didn't want him and Tennessee was the only option? It is possible the Lions are waiting on someone from 49ers, Seahawks etc.

Detroit definitely wanted him, he just wanted to be in Tennessee more (or they offered more). For as long as they took to fire the last guy, the Titans moved very quickly to find a replacement. Frontrunner in Detroit is now thought to be Jim Caldwell.mikeygnfl wrote:Maybe Detroit didn't want him and Tennessee was the only option?
Also the Vikings have a second interview planned with Mike Zimmer today, general expectation is that they won't let him leave.

I hope for a 49ers/Broncos Super Bowl because I wouldn't know who I'd want to win.
I hope it isn't a Seahawks/Patriots Super Bowl because I wouldn't know who I could tolerate winning.
Anyone bought tickets for the International Series this morning?

49ers/Patriots would be interesting, given that the Pats have almost become a power running team at times this season, would love to see what old Beezlebub would come up with against our front 7.
49ers/Broncos gives the ultimate defence vs offence matchup, if our front 7 can beat their O Line I think our offence is good enough to score on the Denver D. Could be a bit of a shootout if neither defence wins their battle.

Pre-game, maybe.
Post-game, definitely not. Fill up, especially if it's complimentary...
I'll be in the club seats for the Raiders game. I'd maybe go to see another game if I can a) afford it, and b) there are tickets still there later in the year.

He did well with the Ravens offence last year obviously, but then this year weren't great but that might've been down to injuries and the fact Castillo's o-line was horrific.
Needs to install some discipline first and foremost

Well, if you believe the anti-Redskins media, they should have the best offense in the league and Andy Dalton should become a superstar now that Gruden is gone.

And this of course means just Cleveland is left. Apparently they've interviewed 6 people so far, of which two have taken jobs elsewhere (one as HC and one as OC), and two others have decided they'd rather stay where they are than coach the Browns. Reportedly they're high on Denver's OC Gase, but he doesn't want to interview anywhere until their season is over.

Thank God, Peyton Manning has explained what 'Omaha' means:
“I’m not sure I know how to answer that, but I’ve had a lot people ask what ‘Omaha’ means,” Manning told reporters. “‘Omaha’ is a run play, but it could be a pass play or a play-action pass depending on a couple things – the wind, which way we’re going, the quarter and the jerseys that we’re wearing. It varies really play to play. There’s your answer to that one.”

Im glad he took the time to explain. I imagine any coach will be laughing whenever they hear him shout omaha from now knowing that the next play will be a run play

Or play action

I'm most looking forward to Pats/Broncos. Brady and Peyton will go down as two of the best ever and we might not get too many more chances to see them head to head so I'm going to enjoy this one.
Seahawks/49ers is one of those games where I'd rather neither team won so will be a tough watch.
