Also thought the Broncos receivers were bullied and at times they looked physically scared to take a hit. Not for the first time this past season either
We'd have struggled last night for sure, but certainly would've put up a better showing than what Denver did.

Denver just didn't seem up for the game at all. Got pushed around at every position from the start. Bizarre.

It's games like last night that make me happy the NHL playoffs are best of seven. If I was at home last night I would've gone to bed after the halftime show.

Honestly, elimination games are far superior to the 7 game series favored by other leagues. Each NFL playoff game means a hell of a lot more

Lots of stupid stuff being said about Peyton Manning today. Like really stupid stuff. The guy is class. A master of the QB position. Seattle were just so up for it defensively last night and Denver as a team were flat from the off. Seattle's intensity would have overwhelmed any other team last night. That's not on Peyton. Sometimes the other team is just better than you on the day. Peyton is still one of the greats. There's nothing to choose between him and Brady. Brady has been fortunate to have played with better coaching his whole career than Manning has had. New England also never played a defense as good as Seattle's in a Superbowl.

You've clearly never watched the Stanley Cup playoffs.

There has been a lot of rubbish (looking at you guys ESPN First Take, they somehow managed to get Tebow involved!!!!!) but there can be no denying that for as well as Seattle played, Denver was just as bad on offence. Peyton had a poor game, those picks were awful throws and I have the reason why it was so bad.
Didn't hear him say Omaha once. Rookie error

To be brutally honest, I don't think anyone has.
By definition a win or go game means more than 1 of 7 games

Weird question here. Does anyone know the odds of a safety in your bog standard regular season game? I'm talking about "Will there be a safety? Yes" type bet not the first scorer.

I know first scorer last night it was like 50/1 on Sky, not sure what one is just during a game, would guess about 25/1

If you go off the premise that there's 1 a week (no idea) then 16/1

In 2013/14, if you bet £1 every game of the regular season that there would be a safety, you'd need odds of 16/1 to break even. That's why I was asking.

So basically they are going on around 1 a week... i think there might be a tad less, but it would be close

I was thinking about doing a worst possible FF league next year where players get points for INTs etc and lose points for throwing TDs

A brave/ bold decision. It will be interesting to see how that affects his draft stock and how teams react to him? Reports suggest that most scouts knew he was gay anyway and that he had told his Missouri team mates back in August,Olly wrote:Michael Sam, projected mid round pick has come out as gay. He had 10.5 sacks for the year and was named SEC Defensive Player of the Year. Drafttek has him going 3rd round to the Cardinals and Walter Report has him going in the 2nd round to the Chargers.

Yeah, I got the Mock GM Draft going last year. Happy to get the ball rolling again unless someone else wants to run it (i'm quite busy at the mo ).
Looking back, we picked teams about now, then ran the draft thru March up to the real thing. Managed to get 3 rounds completed.

Fair play to the guy but now we get the fun times of teams being labelled homophobic when he drops to later rounds as expected all along/he gets cut in TC.
Career wise, probably would've been best to wait until he's established/retired

Ultimately though, its all irrelevant. If he can play, he'll get his chance. If he can't, he'll be canned. All hes done is likely earn himself a shorter leash, a la a certain Mr Tebow

I seen this but took it with a pinch of salt. Depending on what Oakland do in the off season (considering this is the first time we have a compliment of picks and also have a large chunk of salary cap to play with) will depend on how tough the schedule will be
