The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
I'm not really a London person. Occasionally Putney or Clapham to see mates or Lords for the cricket.
If Georgian food is anything like Estonian fayre I may give it a miss.
Galted wrote:seanmichaels wrote:Galted wrote:Decided to treat myself to a 3-piece variety meal but the Wrap-It-Up is between work & the KFC so you can probably imagine what happened.
Your Hi-Techs started to squeek?
Probably but I was too hungry to notice. Almost broke into a run as I approached the Wrap-It-Up.
Have you ever been to Tamada by the way? Georgian restaurant off Abbey Road. Went there for my birthday and found no reason to complain.

I've always wondered on the etymology of TSMR, I must have been absent from that particular thread, more than likely a boxing one.

I think it is actually The Saintly Mrs Rowley, isn't it?
It was me that coined The Imaginary Mrs Cane. I miss Union.
Galted, using the word 'etymology' is f*cking brilliant. I like to learn a new word per week so thanks to you.

Sorry to see you leave HTF - but glad to hear you're alright (I did post a comment asking if anyone had heard from you as I was worried that your heart had packed in after another round of dressing up bedroom games at your house).
I presume there is no chance of ever seeing those photos then?

Scottrf was working for mythbusters at the time - nothing stalkerish about him.

What have you got planned for tonight, Jeff?
Dash home from work, air kiss TSMR on both cheeks, hang your m*n-bag up and then skip upstairs for a lovely warm Radox bath?

Its the encyclopaedic retaining of information regarding Rowley's camp possessions and bathing habits that worries us. Galted has been so scared he hasn't had a bath since he met you. His lack of bathing beforehand though is unexplained.

Made a nice gravy the other weekend. Couple of sticks of Celery, bay leaves, a couple of carrots, onion and a few apples. In the roasting tin with the meat and a can of strongbow. When meat is done remove, mash remaining contents and sieve the juices. Marvellous.

Following property website Zoopla's decision not to renew their sponsorship, which expires at the end of the season, shipping company FCL Global Forwarding, the University of Wolverhampton, German outdoor clothing company Jack Wolfskin and Holler Watches are reviewing their deals with the club.

You may have stumbled across something there Sean, have significantly cut down on booze in the new year, have stopped smoking and am eating healthier. This is my second bug since those changes, may have to go out and buy some crack.

Smoking as well? That'll be the cause. Chest infection?

We had some travellers roll into our village years ago. They parked up on the edge of a farmers field on some disputed land. After petitioning to various people for months the farmer and the community action group finally got rid of them at which point the farmer used his tractor to drop a massive boulder along the access path so no vehicles could get down it. The police promptly turned up the very next day and arrested him for breaking some minor public access law!
It was hilarious, the village was up in arms. The old dears on the church committee were preparing to burn down the local council offices in disgust.
