The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
Happily, the first Spice Girls Single not to go to Number 1 was Stop, it was kept off top spot by Run DMC vs Jason Nevins - It's Like That.
seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:JuliusHMarx wrote:I think I'll upset Jeff now and say that Blackberry Way is a better song than Waterloo Sunset.
Why would the fact you're a moron upset me?
As an aside though another Move song, Flowers in the Rain was the first song ever played on Radio One.
That could and should have been posted on me remarkably unpopular Music anecdotes thread....
Sean, if the thread had been called useless music trivia it almost certainly would have been. I have any number of such facts I could amaze you good people with.
Hit me.

Only because you want a less formidable opponent

Still no Galted. This is an infinitely more worrying development than windows' disappearance earlier in the week.

It would have helped, but now I have an image of you in very small and tight white shorts and I can't get rid of it.

I did my job with Tino and he was at an egg and spoon race. Galted has probably taken viagra and is now cracking off.

You are very infatuated by him, aren't you?
It is rather sweet. Like a little puppy yapping at his feet.

I mention tennis and you start imagining me in small tight white shorts. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it does gives us an insight into your psyche.

I worry as despite his attire, he lacks basic survival skills outside his flat / IT department. He's also funnier than you.

It just hurts as I remember the days you used to be infatuated by me and follow me around like a lost dog. How quickly your affections turn, sean.

Bread roll and a block of cheese. Supplemented by a soup from the coffe machine. Luckily it is a fat bird's 40th so I can graze on sausage rolls / cake all afternoon.

Re: The Culture Cup round 6
Thanks for noticing that I was missing, michaels. You'll be proud to know that you were correct and, for part of my absence, I was buying a tray of Creme Parisiennes fairly near Tottenham Court Road. I also bought a delicious honeydew pearl tea with tapioca balls up the road from Oxford Circus.
During my morning travels I was involved in an episode that should be hugely inspirational to Rowley: at the Victoria Station Marks and Spencer I bought a cheese roll, rrp £2.35. The cashier charged me for a tuna roll and I paid only £1.30. Thus, I have an extra £1.05 to spend on crisps and coal.

He was buying them for Valentines day, not sure even Galted would give them to a lady with ones missing.

I can envisage a silent witness scenario where bodies are found in his cellar and the butler becomes the prime suspect only for a late plot twist revealing his psycho son has been doing it whilst Tina covered it all up.

One bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale that's been sat in the fridge since Christmas and then pass out at 8. Had a combined total of 4 hours sleep last two nights as my daughter has croup and I've to sit in a rocking chair while she sleeps on my shoulder.

Us Scots have been known to cobine two of our favourite beverages, Buckfast and carbonated drinks, by adding Buckfast to a sodastream to make "Buckfast Sodastream".
