The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
You could be right. If only you'd stuck to sonoluminescence, it definitely would have merited a round of applause. As it is, I'm not sure my conscient will allow it.

I think it is a grey ground Julius rather than black and white, so we may agree to disagree on this one

Easy for some - the rest of us have to buy cigarettes instead of confiscating them from immigrants.
Re: The Culture Cup round 6
That would surely make it easier for me to continue smoking Shah?

It's probably true Tino - he probably does it out of habit... You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Sorry.

To be honest though have just dropped back into the boxing boards and in the 53 days period I have not wanted a cigarette more.

It is three more than I will manage, same old people, same old arguments. Might reopen the news section, might draw them away.

Truss and TopHat will just gravitate there for arguments. They just need to meet up, have an evening together and get all that sexual tension out in the open. That will sort it.

Re: The Culture Cup round 6
Chicken, Edamame and Ginger Soup from Pret
Taste 0/5 – had onion in it.
Price 0/5 – see above.
Health n/a – who wants to live in a world with onions?
Naming of the meal 0/5 - f*cking disgrace, no mention of the hideous great flaps of onion on the board in the store. Sly b'stards had mentioned it on the website though to avoid comeback. Well sod them, vengeance of the most miffed type is a'coming.
Overall 0/5 – dreadful, contained onion. Really disappointed that I didn't get a delicious chicken burrito from Wrap-It-Up. Rowley could have bought 6 tweed flat caps with the money I wasted on this abomination and still had change for a pint of bitter and a bag of offal-flavoured hula hoops.

I feel for you. I have a similar hatred for all things onion and it winds me up no end when people try to sneak them into in my food. Every other bloody ingredient gets a mention but never onions. The b**tards!
I assume you have to insist on no onions in your burritos?

That's correct, I have aubergines instead of the salsa which has bits of onion.

I often wonder why when blokes get to Jeff / Julius's age, they feel the need to shake their hamptons vigorously post urination? Whilst I believe this to be a non homo act, it is nonetheless perturbing seeing an older bloke choke the ckicken at the boggas.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice.
Best urinal prank is to walk into your alloted space and pull your trousers and pants down to your ankle as a child would. Not recommended at work but definitely at weddings.

If you live that long you may find out. However, given your alcoholism and personal hygiene issues, I doubt you'll make it.

At my age I often forget to put my underwear on (or have to remove it during the day) - hence the need for the urinal hampton dance.

Bugger is when you are wearing pale coloured trouser type garments. Shows up the drippage someting chronic. Perhaps there is a business case for a male sanitary pad?

Re: The Culture Cup round 6
The word "hampton" has brought me to a state of near-hysteria. One of my colleagues just complained that his three-cheese ravioli wasn't very good and even that set me off. The walk to the station is going to be painful unless I can pull myself together, I'm worried I'll see a cyclist getting run over or a beggar wearing a hat.
