You could be right. If only you'd stuck to sonoluminescence, it definitely would have merited a round of applause. As it is, I'm not sure my conscient will allow it.

I think it is a grey ground Julius rather than black and white, so we may agree to disagree on this one

They do have a habit of dressing up as daffodils at rugby matches though. Here is an example:
The one on the right looks more doable although her teeth are quite intimidating.

It's not off-putting at all when the wearer has a lithe physique and sturdy lower legs like myself. If I could stop scratching the back of my neck and spitting when I talk I'd be pursued relentlessly by ladies.

Not bad. Missus was supposed to have a hip replacement yesterday which meant a free house for 2 weeks. Been postponed till next wednesday now so she's back this evening. Not a bad thing but had planned to catch up on a bit of gardening and decorating. Like to do it on my own as she's a control freak.

Morrissey used to have Gladioli as well, so not only did it kill the thread but it was also inaccurate.

Rock and roll mate, though I do not let Missus Dagless loose on the decorating, thankfully, despite a slow but increasingly visible assimilation, it is still "My Flat"
Not to say the suggestions dont come thick and fast, along with minor things like ridiculously small bins, and cushions...

Had a feeling some music trivia may bring you over Jeff, esp as it is now shown to be inaccurate, bet your ears were burning whilst you hunted down the thread it was on

Thought of you this morning, Seany. We have a new girl starting with us from March and I gave her a little bit of training over the last couple of hours.
She is French. Very pleasant young lady. I haven't spoken to her enough to decide if she is a racist yet though.

@ michaels - I am so, so sorry but I had no idea you were looking forward to a Wrap-It-Up review and I spent all my jingling money on a Mushroom Risotto soup and baguette from Pret. For what it's worth, if I'd bought a delicious chicken burrito from Wrap-It-Up it would have scored very highly, very highly indeed.
@ dagless - see above
@ Julius - thanks for pointing out that "shoo-in" is the correct spelling, this is something of which I was unaware. I will be sure to keep a look-out for this in future, the potential for annoying people trying to make a point is infinite
@ Tino - is "a little bit of training" supposed to be an innuendo?

OK, I still don't really understand why I would ask her about him? Is he some sort of controversial French figure then? Aside from nutting Stuart Pearce (who I have heard of)?

I'm off to have a digestively responsible peppermint tea and do a bit of self-harming. I may write an angst-ridden poem about it afterwards or hang myself with my shoo-laces.

Very good Julius, really hope this meets with a better response than your previous name based punnery, as the Jeff Beck quip killed the thread in a way even sean can only dream of.

I have a sneaking suspicion that she is too bright to be foiled by the old "what do you think of [insert name of black person]" trick.
According to her CV, her favourite actor is Mr Sidney Poitier.

Look can we stop perpetuating lazy stereotypes about same gender schools and private educations, sean has already confirmed that these stereotypes are an urban myth, surely that should be enough to put this to bed once and for all, as you would never hope to meet a more well adjusted example of heterosexuality than our Sean.

I used to know a French girl who got a wart on her fanny from all the group sex she used to participate in. You might want to tell your one this as a means of steering the "training" towards sex or do you still only go for old ladies and Eastern Europeans?

It is just like The Newsroom, Jeff. Once it is confirmed by two separate sources, you can run with the story.
If the new girls confirms she has not had any same sex experiences, I can put it to bed and stop accusing Sean of having his shopping delivered at the back door.

Here's an emo poem.
Addiction
© Chloe Marling
I felt to pain everyday,
Seeing the scars on my wrist.
No one understands me,
My life is at risk.
Waiting everyday for the worst,
With a razor blade in my hand.
Getting ready to cut my wrist,
I can't wait until my life ends.
At school I hang my head low,
Always feeling ashamed.
Always making actions of slicing their wrist,
The only reason is,
The cuts and scars on My wrist.
Wanting my life to end every night.
People don't understand depression,
Thinking only Mental people have it.
But no one knows how it feels,
until I explain,
The life I live is real.
Teachers and parents walk by,
Seeing the scars on my wrists.
Never knowing,
I'm waiting for the day I die.
5 uses of "wrist"
1 x pain
2 x cut
3 x scar
1 x blade
It's even funnier if you imagine it being read to a laugh track.

2 x cut
3 x scar
1 x blade
