Can't see Sam surviving for much longer really. If he does go, he'll be in demand next year when teams fighting relegation sack their managers around Christmas, they'll all be hoping he'll be that year's Pulis.

Norwich will need a full-time manager, Norwich will be in the Championship, Sam gets teams promoted... Is that not a match made in heaven?

Huge game for us at home to Hull next Saturday.
Lose and i think we will go down.
Think Norwich will surprise some and pick up a win.
Think other teams will to.
City and Spurs away last 2 games.
Shocking season again.

I wish Sky would stop going on about how Giggs has to tell them to play the "United" way. Most of these players don't have the ability to play that kind of football.

Did Giggs or Lord Baconface pick this Man United team?
Dear me...Cleverley and Ferdinand starting. Always a chance for Norwich, then.

Depend what list you go by, I've seen some have Mourinho, Pellegrini, Rodgers, Wenger all earning more than him.

He gets paid £2.95 million a year, I believe. Staggering amount.

Redmond is such a lazy player, didn't track Valencia and then stood and watched while he had ages to cross the ball.

Man Utd v Norwich an odd one to call.
As others have pointed out, MU players will be wanting to impress now, which could in itself beg a question as to their loyalty to the fans. and the Norwich guys will want to stay in the big time, with the benefits that brings. So fighting every little bit.
Who wants it more?

This was never going to be an easy game though, Norwich need a win and are going to be difficult to break down. Although they lost against Liverpool they would have taken heart from the performance.

Agreed. Man Utd used to scare teams with the pace of attack. Norwich are better at it thus far.
Utd do need a clear out. The current crop should be ashamed.

Definately a pen
Jarvis proved the other week that honesty gets you no where so why shouldnt Welbeck go down when grabbed from behind. Whether the grab was enough for him to go down the way he did is open to debate but the defender stupidly grabbed out, welbeck punished him by going down....simples

Big blow to Norwich that. Can't see anything other than a Utd win now and expect them to bag a couple more.
Just heard Paul Lambert on the radio. Very drab.

That is in no way a penalty, yes he brushes his shoulder but it is not enough to either knock him off balance or bring him down or infringe him in anyway. Welbeck goes down because he decides to drag his foot on the ground, if he keeps his feet he has a good chance. Drives me crazy when players go to ground like that, there's just no need.

He quite clearly pulls his arm right back Hampo, the irony coming from a Liverpool fan who's been trying to defend the indefensible scumbag.

When have I defended him? He doesn't pull it back, he brushes it. That isn't enough to make him him go down, that decision doesn't get given at the other end.

Considering it was welbeck and his "bambi on ice" style of play it doesn't take much but this season he's been almost as bad as ashley young.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
Duty I've criticised Suarez and other Liverpool players when they've dived this season, no problem with criticising any player who dives. But when a player has minimal contact and goes down when he is about to have a very good one on one chance to score it has to make you question the mentality of that player.

With Lerner selling the club you'll need some good performances to get buyers interested mate. Lambert has only won 30% of games in charge at Villa, a long way from the O'Neill days.
