We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
First topic message reminder :
I know it's not premier league related, but I was just reading that both of Scunthorpes goalkeepers suffered broken arms in today's game.

He doesn't like us.
We've been taking the urine for the past 10 mins, lovely to watch. Amalfitano is such a lovely player. Great to see Valencia's confidence back too. 5 in 8 for Carroll too now. Was a little worried about not having Kouyate and Sakho around but important three points here

Just can't see Arsenal getting anything today. The weaknesses that needed addressing to compete with the top sides haven't been addressed, so a comfortable 3-1 maybe 4-1 win for City.

So that gets given, but Defoes yesterday doesn't. I'm so happy with have consistent officials in this country.

Socal is a bit quiet these days Olly, maybe he's just waiting for Ramsey to have a good game.

Helps they haven't got Yaya running at them & Aguero clearly isn't fully fit or sharp with his movement

HT Citeh 0-1 Arsenal
We've taken Silva out the game which means they have to cross into Aguero where Mertesacker towers over him.

It wasn't a penalty but I can't help feeling that Kompany is done as a top class defender, makes far too many silly mistakes and switches off too often.

Manchester City have 232 Premier League goals on the bench in Frank Lampard, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic. Time for a change? Jovetic is getting some heavy instructions from Brian Kidd as he warms up.
From the BBC coverage, when over a 170 of those come from Lampard it's a bit needless to include the other two, makes it sound like they have three proven goalscorers on the bench.

Also you know Kompany's groin or hamstring is popping sooner, rather than later. Really missing Yaya, movement of Arsenal centrally too quick for Fernando & his twin.

If Arsenal manage to hold on to this, the City-Chelsea game in 2 weeks (I think) becomes absolutely massive.

Yeah, not sure a top 4 side beating another top 4 side is a big upset to be honest.

Bit hyperbolic, it's the 4/5th best team in the league beating the 2nd, hardly shocking stuff.

Newcastle reserves beating City @ the Etihad 2-0 in LC or Newcastle with 10 men beating Chelsea, giving them their first defeat of season.

Fairplay, Arsenal completely proved me wrong. Now that was a proper away performance. Made themselves hard to beat, didn't give City an inch and punished them when the opportunity presented himself. City were dreadful. That midfield of Fernando/Fernandihno is gonna struggle for me.

Arsenal let them have the ball- and just bossed silva. Great tactics for once from wenger against a top team.
But it does show how important Toure is. You cannot keep that man down

Nice won Mysti.
Must admit I was very nervous ahead of the game seeing as there was six away wins in eight games. Thought we might drop below the Hammers on goal difference. Some great performances from some of our lesser lights like Bellerin, Monreal, Coquelin.
Like you Fernando I was worried about having Mike Dean as the ref; we never seem to get anything from him. Kompany was a lucky boy in my opinion especially with that late challenge on Sanchez early in the second half.

nah i am never up mate- well actually - i am last year- all my bet fair payment options show minus now.
i have made more on the golf major market.- and i am not bragging but overall up on that(but not in total)
I normally get battered in football, and i was so close to cashing out at 1-0- then they scored a goal and the pressure was off.
the bet was 130/1- arsernal and palace really bumped it up- only a 20 pound bet.
I used to love betting on cricket . the markets used to go mad!! but they dont anymore
