I saw the Headmaster getting grilled this morning (for a painful 30 minutes or so) giving evidence. It was compelling viewing.
Some very awkward questions from the cross examiner were answered with "I don't recall" and "Yes" (to some very sticky questions) which implied that the proper procedures were not undertaken at the time.

No wonder the Boy From Oz is so over-animated at airport terminals.

What happens after you pick them up though? Keep them as souvenirs? Can't imagine they'd be of any use to you, especially if they're also chipped now

Unless sean is talking about false teeth, raf... in which case there would be a 50:50 chance of them only being slightly damaged and perhaps still able to be repaired.

Still, it would hurt leaning over to pick them up with a broken arm or two.

The 2 blokes about to be shot in Indonesia have been moved to the island off Java.

Apparently they were asked whether they want to be tied to a post or seated on a chair.

One of them responded - "Can I do a handstand?"
(no bull... heard it the other day on a late night radio report)

Should have replied, "I'd like to be tied to a post with you mum, sister, wife (all age dependant...then again if you're going to be shot, balls to the lot of 'em I say) glued to my c*ck and fingers whilst you blast away with automatic weapons that you're too stupid to operate safely................or laid down in a comfy bed!

Well, in much the same fashion, I started a new book on the train this morning. Having read war books for the last few months, I've moved back to boxing. No Place to Hide by Errol Christie. I shall think of you listening to non-offensive music every time I turn a page.

Was watching their 1975 concert in Texas the other night. It was quite an energetic performance.

I have read it Tina, not much boxing in it, but the racism stories are interesting enough.

There was a program about Aussie food here last night LD. Apparently you guys are becoming more sophisticated with your tastes. There's a campaign to get you eating Wallaby as it is so abundant.

Biggest surprise was the Abalone fisherman. He gets 100$ per kilo of Abalone. On a trip out he gets 4-7 tonnes of the stuff. Not a bad living, he reckons he does 80 days a year in total.

Huge money abalone fishing, seany. Big in Sth Australia and WA.

I also saw this programme on an old couple raking it in farming cultured pearls... the old bloke has been diving every day for decades. They have some secret method to increase the yields.

Never had kangaroo or wallaby... to eat. I've noticed most overseas visitors are keen to taste it though. Especially all those cruel Asians.
We had a cat which only ate roo though. She was a sophisticated cat obviously... turned her nose up at just about everything else.

I saw a black wallaby with golden-honey coloured tips not long ago foraging in some lush looking grass. It seemed half tame or not afraid of city living.

I would never eat our rugby mascot though! (no matter how hopeless they are on the field)  

This abalone fisherman was in Taz. Looks a beaut of a place. I remember the walking broomstick (aka Bushy off of Rex Hunt's Fishing adventures) fly fishing for trout in the streams there. Magnificent.

Pristine environment down there. I didn't realise (until a few years ago) that they lead the world in growing lavender and very high quality truffles. Better than Italian ones I hear. Superb apples and other fruits (non genetically modified) as well.

The bird I'm seeing is obsessed about Tasmania. I might have to take her down there for a trip in winter.

Best apricots apparently.

They lead the way in number 3's for international cricket as well. David Boon and Ricky Ponting are from the same city in Tasmania.
