Which reminds me. Sporting a Reiss burgundy polo shirt with sand coloured chinos and my new balance trainers. I haven't stood up since lunch because when I put my hampton away after lashing. I dribbled a bit. Fecking patch won't dry.

Used the distance measurement tool on google maps to calculate that the London marathon passes within 165 metres of my flat which means that food shopping will be fraught with difficulty to impossible. Could stock up on Saturday but turns out I'm going to phucking Eastbourne as well. What a c*nt of a weekend.

I had to do a literacy test today as part of my teacher training application thing. Nice and easy. I'd have been upset to get any of that wrong considering "democracy" was one of the spelling questions, but I did notice some mistakes that were not part of the test. I went into the office to tell them that the grammar in their test was wrong on a couple of counts, which really bugged me considering it was a test on literacy, but they didn't care.

I didn't know anyone else who might care.

Considered wearing the Wolfskin but that would be unfair on the athletes if I got all the attention so I wore the fleece instead. Could have had any woman I wanted as they were all giving me smouldering looks, GOSPEL, but I twinged my groin on the stroll down so I'm resting now.

I went to the Herts County tag rugby festival as one of the kids was playing yesterday.   It was held in Tring.....

I even had to drive past the cricket club.  The cricket club.  The hallowed turf that a certain Mr Cox used to produce chance less centuries and poetic wicketkeeping.  I didn't have time but I should have popped in and looked at the wall of fame.  Take pictures of his name next all the Tring CC batting records.

You missed his big 9 on saturday against Hemel Hempstead (2's).
