Yes, it's usually orange/red but sunset still about half an hour away from now.
That sunlight is coming through the shelf cloud though... hence yellow/white

Yes but it was short lived.

There is a TV programme on over here at the moment with Steve Backshall in it. He is basically going up a tepui in Venezuela but was searching for insects in the rainforest before they started to climb. He found a Wandering spider inside a hollowed out tree trunk. Those things are thunder b*stards. Massive venom glands and pretty aggressive. One of the side effects of a bite (if you don't just die) is priapism for up to 3 days and then complete loss of sexual function for the rest of your life.

Nasty little f*ckers. I think I'd rather get bitten by a funnel web than one of those.

I've given up fighting for space in the bed. The older pair very rarely come in but the twins and the little'un will quite often end up in there and I just give up. If it's too early I'll go and find an empty bed somewhere, or I'll just trudge downstairs and have a coffee.
