Apparently Sakho has now told Liverpool he won't leave on loan, that'll he stay at Liverpool.
Taking on Klopp a brave move.

They'll need someone to keep the physio in a job now Wilshire is on his way out.

Wilshere's move to Roma nearly done apparently. Franco Baldini, ex-England assistant manager, was the major man pushing for the move.
Good to see English players moving abroad to be honest.

One wonders if it scuppers his England chances as once players are out of the PL they tend to get forgotten. Who was the last English player who played abroad who regularly kept his England spot?Crimey wrote:Wilshere's move to Roma nearly done apparently. David Beckham and Michael Owen.
Think that all goes back to Steve McManaman and the fact that most other players who have gone abroad wouldn't have been picked anyway.
I expect if Hart and Wilshere are playing consistently and well for Roma and Torino they'll be picked. Considering Allardyce wants to open up the English side to actual foreigners, don't think English players going abroad is going to harm them.

Wilshere will have a tough time getting in the Roma midfield, that is their strength. The move doesn't make much sense except going to the most glamorous of the clubs interested.

So Atsu confirmed on a season loan, with option to buy.
Has Sissoko joinedArsenal....sorry Spurs / Chealsea yet.
I wonder if he joins either of them he will spend the next few seasons begging Arsenal to come buy him!

As back up don't see that as a bad deal. Can't believe how little Liverpool let him go for. Always been underrated for me, not particularly flashy but very solid.

In the much of a muchness column of back-up right backs he is as interesting to me as Debuchy or Richards. I would rather Iorfa

Arsenal have refused to do business with Roma, no idea why perhaps they're being low-balled? So now Wilshere is on his way to Bournemouth.

It's because Roma were d*cks when we tried to sign Manolas instead of Mustafi and apparently their officials weren't exactly the most pleasant people to do business with.

Norwich are going to sign Jerome Sinclair on loan.
Stoke are signing Bruno Martins Indi on loan. Philipp Wolscheid has left.
Moussa Sissoko may end up staying after all, Newcastle won't budge on their £30 million valuation and Benitez would like to actually use him this season.

Reintegration back into the side won't be difficult. Fans are thickle, few boos for a couple of weeks, but once he starts dominating Championship matches & helps us towards the primary objective, then most will be forgotten. We don't need the money & seeing as Spurs have £26m in the bank from the sales of Mason & Chadli, we were hardly going to drop the price.

Marcos Alonso to Chelsea done, apparently. Luiz in London for a medical.
Suggested that it'll move Azpilicueta (finally) to his natural position, and Ivanovic as a spare defender. Ivanovic in central defence wouldnt make me happy.

Wilshere travelling to Bournemouth to complete deal for season long loan. Of all the clubs in for him, Roma were best, but Bournemouth suit him most domestically.

Hopefully they don't mess around, offer the £30m & end this saga.

As far as i'm aware he has improved but i think the key thing about him is that he can play LB or LM and i think he can even play CB too if needed.

Literally the most Norwich signing ever - chase a marquee striker all summer - end up with a forest reject and a youngster on loan who couldn't get into Watford reserves
The same every single bloomin window - the recruitment team here stinks

Presumably Conte has seen a decent amount of him with the Serie A connection, so hopefully his judgement is a good one...

Demichelis, Mangala & Denayer possibly loaned out tonight. No real guarantee of Kompany being fit, which leaves Pep with Stones & Otamendi at CB. That's short

Re: Summer Transfer Thread 16/17
Demichelis has already gone.
Think he'll end up playing Fernandinho at centre back at some point this season and has already shown he's happy to play Kolarov there, bet Sagna will be in his thoughts as well.

West Brom and Sakho *could* be back on #WHUFC , although the person who told also said 'if' six times after that. It's an 'if' story.

I think he's in for a rude awakening if he thinks the tactics that worked in Spain are going to work over here, it's asking for trouble playing defensively poor full backs at centre back.

Signed Sissoko for £1.5m. Sold for £30m. That's £55m from those mugs on Merseyside this summer.
