The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Cari wrote:Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Yep, good luck Stag I feel it is what you want to do at this stage.
Oh, to have a job within walking distance of home. The only downside for me is that it's 'too close'.
dteamer - I'm pleased you're going to be able to watch your team in the JWC. Tough pool though, but Wales should put up a good show.
Watch Aus in this competition; I feel that they may do very well. NZ to win it though (as ever). For :reddevil:

It is accelerating. Which is nice.
Hobo deserves it, for all the work he's done and all the help he gave us to feel comfortable on here.
Here's a pint for himself when he drops in.
Exactly he's some man for one man.
cheers guys - I really appreciate it.
Hopefully I will get to meet some of you on one of your meet ups.
I will be honest, I was only ever a international rugby follower and have only been to a handful of games in my life but 606v2 has really ignited my passion for it. I have found myself watching old games and the last few cup finals.
I am also considering going to see Glasgow Warriors this season!
Bringing on the rugby board has really got me into things big time - I am loving all things rugby now. Getting a good following on twitter too which is nice! up to 190 followers in under a month - not bad from a standing still and way ahead of the other v2 twitter accounts.
Glad you all feel at home - as always, anything I can do, just holler!

Ah, I see!
No, I don't get an early finish on Fridays. Everyone else in the office does, but I have to stay on til half three just in case someone from head office calls. It's okay though, it means I'm free to watch porn - I mean, cute baby animals doing funny things.

So, a few near the knuckle comments over 8 years of posting on Scrum V/606 means I ALWAYS post crude comments ? Do your angry comments on 606 mean you always post angry comments ?

I'm not confusing you with anyone. Just to remind you, that everyone on here starts with a clean slate. I made many thousands of posts on 606 on Scrum V/606 before you joined, perhaps you should read all those before saying you know my "online persona"

I'm not the one whose a) accusing anyone of being crude or b) getting all worked up about it. I'm just the one suggesting Munsty has read more than 44 of your posts over the past few years.
I don't think you fully understand what's going on here

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
My preference is that you dont - remember one of the things that made 606 so successful was its low visibility at work.
Start posting in green and some people may decide that people can see what they are up to and not come on.
Just my thoughts on the matter.

Simple answer is so that you can give kids 1 tablet Hughie.'
Nice day in the foggy dew here, hopefully she stays like this for the weekend, got my Casa to myself all day tomorrow and plan to sit in a paddling pool in the garden drinking beer and eating hotdogs, so I'll need a bit of sunshine!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Morning all.
Good point about headache tablets, Hughie. When we were younger my eldest sister always took three at a time, so there was always only one left at the end of the packet. One is no good to anyone.
Last time I was in London I went to the British Museum. I'd definitely recommend it, there's so much to see - a few months after I'd been I saw a documentary and realised I'd missed loads of stuff!

Nacewa won't be At the world cup.
I feel conflicted about it, but the overriding emotion is disappointment.
