Excellent news, Jules, the only thing that makes being in work worthwhile, is knowing there are others who are off.

I think so, had a house full for most of it, so hectic, and glad to have everyone f**k off now, but seemed to go OK.
Now I am old enough to sack any effort off for the new year, looking forward to a good weekend ahead.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Morning Rick - it was fine. Kids enjoyed it but having a 2 year old does tend to eliminate any chance of ever being able to properly relax.
I got one of these Mega Drive retro consoles and finally managed to play some games on it last night (it comes with 85). Forgot how good Golden Axe II and Shinobi were and also discovered Bonanzo Bros which is brilliant. It plays the original cartridges and I've ordered the original FIFA game, EA Hockey, John Madden and Road Rage. Was trying to source Streets of Rage II and Out-Run but could only find them for silly money.
Any Brexit based arguments in your full house over Christmas?

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
I am glad they have all gone now, though it was fun for an hour or so. Thankfully all politics was avoided for the duration, though there was some minor bickering over a game called "jackbox" which if you have not played it, I can recommend for having people around and keeping them quite for a wee while.
I got the PS1 classic, not had a chance to fire it up yet. My friend and I regularly used to stay up all night playing Road Rash and other classics, I may have to look into the retro one.

Penultimate final fist for me then.
How's it going. Jules? Chilling out on the armchair in slippers reading comics and listening to A-Ha with your cape nearby?
Always thought you were a proper multi-tasker, mate. I'd be very disappointed if you weren't.
'Ave 'appy New Year you and everyone else. Only 2.5 hours to go here.
Lots of illegal firecrackers (must be imported from the middle-east... because they're banned in Australia) going off around here.

Yep, that's pretty much it PJ, but you forgot to mention eating Charbonnel et Walker Cremes Parisiennes.

I do need a fairly straightforward quiz question, of which the answer starts with N and end in S.

Excellent alliteration, Dagless. Such witty wordplay sets us up nicely for the year.
I did intend to answer in kind but I've currently got an immense log wedged in my ars*hole and thought is difficult.
