No. It was a day of mourning.  

Our next holiday (Labour Day) is just after the NRL Grand Final - Monday 7 October.

As much as I sympathise with Bury supporters the whole debacle is quite funny, all this screaming about how the Govt/Man Utd/Man City should intervene because it's devastating a community, you'd swear a f*cking avalanche had swallowed up the town. If they cared about their football team so much maybe they should've gone along to watch the matches and they wouldn't have been in the sh*t they were.

Good thanks and yourself? Off on a cruise with Galtova and the smaller version of us tomorrow. I'll be sure to give the finger to the continent as soon as I see it now that we're almost independent.

I've been thinking about a cruise, but have visions of cupboard-size rooms. I'd be interested to know how the cabin & bathroom sizes compare with, say, an average Premier Inn.

Went on a Costa cruise a couple of years back, cabin and bathroom were ok-sized though I am comparing them to a one-bedroomed London flat, which doesn't compare too well to cupboard space.

I always envisage that if I go on a cruise I would end up attracting the idiots and then not be able to get away from them. Or, conversely I would be the idiot and end up annoying everyone else.

The Costa cruise was full of Italians so the language barrier saved us from all their crazy shenanigans. One chap hopped around on one foot for the whole morning. One foot! The whole morning! I was in absolute stitches. "What are you like?" I said to him but the pasta-munching scamp just shrugged and carried on hopping. Thinking about it still brings tears to my eyes.

I am trying to put the Brexit sh1tshow on the back burner at the moment. The way I look at things is there is no point in worry about much, because if you can't do anything about it, don't worry, and if you can do something, then crack on and stop worrying.

At the moment, there is little I can do barring batten the hatches.

Yes, I guess you are taking the best approach. There's lots of chatter on the Brexit thread... maybe it's just their way of dealing with the unknown. Quite a good read though.

I dip into the Brexit thread occasionally, usually when I see supes, or Jules name pop up, and generally just to see who they are roasting.

I guess people have various ways of dealing with shizz, I generally don't like to speculate until I can influence.

What do you reckon about the next test?
