Hello, Rick. Certainly am not. Galtova's birthday party on Sunday, has invited way more people than 6 people to the park.
How are your weekend preparations going?

Debating on whether to pick up The Last of us 2, that's about it.

Two extremes of gaming there.
I assume you played the first Last of Us? Haven't myself, in my limited PS experience I haven't yet really got stuck into a game which wasn't either open world or a racing simulator. Good thing about Last of Us is that if you don't buy it you upset the woke brigade, and if you do you upset the people who complain about LGBT being forced down their throats.

I have, probably the best story in any game, and is very much like playing a film.
The gameplay is bang average, but good enough to move the story along.
Boules is woke AF

I remember playing petanque a while back on someone's lawn. Should have seen the pot holes they made. I gather boules is pretty much the same thing? So do you play on gravel, Rick?
Anyway, good luck. Hope you get closest to the cochonnet. (I had to google that... forgot what it was called)

I enjoy providing the fist.
I did not pick up The Last of Us, though Mrs. Dagless and myself had a thoroughly enjoyable time playing Unraveled 2, which as a coucj co op game was great fun.

Galtova has expressed some interest in Cyberpunk 2077 as it involves Keanu Reeves, but it looks a bit sh*te to me. Doubt there's any other way to get her gaming.

Hello fisters.
Take it easy during the heatwave, Rick... no ultramarathons or anything like that.
Freezing here. Just took the rubbish out and it feels rather cool out there.

Yes, 30 degrees is a normal summer's day here. It's about 8 here now which is far from freezing. Heaters galore indoors of course.
Nah... a little spike in some parts of Victoria but very stable here. Still 102. It has been weeks since the last fatality but people are still wary.
I went out to an Italian restaurant on Sat night with 15 others. The waiter let us stay for over 3 hours. Lots of jokes about it. We're all fine.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Hey Jules, my friend sent his screenplay over to America as he was pitching it there as well, and sent it to a pro script reviewer, and they sent a critique back which was really interesting.
I suggested sending it to you guys for the UK, which he was up for when he re-evaluated the screenplay taking into consideration the US comments.
Don't know if you would be interested in the critique for your own interest?

All set thanks. Head shaved to baldness, 2 each of Crabbies, Hobgoblin and Old Crafty Hen in the fridge and chair on the balcony at the ready.
How do you cope with the heat up north (apart from madness and sunstroke)?

We just aerate the flat caps, and ensure the whippets are hydrated.
Failing that sunstroke and sweat, as shorts and sun cream are for "The Puffs" which is weird considering folk think they are harder than the actual sun, but there you are...

All's well, Rick. How are you?
I had a tasty lunch by the beach, bought some nice eau de toilette (it was on special so I got 2 different bottles) and observed the behaviour of a pair of silver gulls as a couple of workers ate some pizza.

I am warm, we will be knocking on the door of 30 degrees here today, so will be off out early for the government mandated exercise.
We have also had the nod to go back to pubs etc. so everyone is excited and anxious at the same time, seemingly.
In other news I need a new phone and the new top end OPPO seems to be getting rave reviews, anyone any experience with OPPO?

Excellent work, using the word 'gulls' instead of 'seagulls'. Tino will be resting peacefully in his grave if he's dead this week.

In other news, I am helping Mrs D out with a legal module for a payroll course, and she was asking me about European Law, and it took me back to European Law lectures, no doubt sat next to supes.
And my word the lecturer Kirsty, was hot.
I have no sean stories of knocking the back out of here, but if supes is on I am sure he will be glad of the flashback.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Unlikely to have been sat next to me, Rick.
I turned up to the first week of those lectures and Ian Ward told everyone he would basically be lecturing from his textbook on EU Law. I promptly bought the book, threw it into a pile of unread text books and put my feet up for the rest of term. Turned up for the last lecture to see if Ward was given away any exam hints and found out that the lecturer Kirsty had been lecturing for weeks on Competition Law and that it wasn't covered in Ward's text book. Had to go straight to the book shop and buy another book.
She was hot though and I like to think she got very aroused when she read my barely acceptable answers to her exam questions.
