Yeah, I've been watering them regularly the last 2 days. They are not stupid, the minute I go out there with a watering can they are straight over. Both snakes and the spider are in temperature controlled vivariums so they are fine. The heat mats turn off at a certain temperature and I turn the heat lamps off as well. They go off automatically at night but I've been turning them off at mid day. The corn snake was curled up in his water bowl yesterday though which was pretty funny. The python is a fat b*stard so can't fit in his bowl but doesn't seem remotely bothered by it. Likewise the spider.

Already prepared for the birds, Pee Jay. We've got 5 different buckets or trays out in the garden with a stone in them for the birds to land on and drink. I've seen loads of starlings, some gulls, pigeons, some t*ts (l*l), some pied wagtails and plenty of doves. Probably been more but they are the birds I've seen so far. I live in the middle of the countryside though so we have plenty of sparrowhawks around which makes the less predatory birds a bit nervous. But no bloodshed so far.

Have a feeling Mordaunt will be next to go and most of her votes (and Badenoch's) will go to Truss who will overcome Sunak in the final two.
The political round up page and mid morning melting into one another is a hell of team up. Especially in the De Pfeffel era. On the one hand we have absurdist ramblings about the days events trying to distract us from the mundanity of everyday life. On the other hand we have mid morning matters.

I'm in one now.
I met an ex whilst wearing a dress in one of the grottiest dive bars in Edinburgh. A plunging ball gown as well. Started out as a charity shop date with another girl. We met at a charity shop with a decided budget and bought one another an outfit. I was nice. She was not. Became clear around an hour in that we weren't right for each other but decided to just have a good time anyway and are still friends.

In a very strange end to that story the girl I started the night on a date with wingmanned me quite majestically through an introduction to another lovely lady. One of my favourite stories was how we truly met. When her family asked how we met she rapidly said, "through friends". A part of me died during that dinner. Then when they served those god awful Gu pots as dessert the rest of me gave up too.

She's now a surgeon, married to another doctor. I play third grade cricket in Scotland averaging about 17 and only have the courage to sledge juniors or retirees. You tell me who won.

Yeah, but has she been invited to the Tea Society. I doubt it, so I make you the winner.

Please don't make us dig up Galted's greatest hits.

Truss getting in arguments with himself was a mainstay of the weightlifting forum too. It's like a museum from a bygone era of avoiding doing work at all costs.

Slightly off topic but my brother introduced tilapia to the waterhole he constructed which have apparently been thriving, though I'd imagine a good few of them get hoovered up everytime an elephant stops off for a drink.  They were recently discovered by a giant kingfisher which has been making a pig of itself to the extent that he's had to place a few rocks and logs in the water to give the fish some respite.

I can confidently claim that it is the first michaelsing to reference a land, water and air animal.

I wasn't too keen on using the word 'hoovering' instead of 'vacuuming' but decided to dumb it down to make the post accessible to a wider audience.
