The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Lucky dip, I think. Dog, cat, gerbil, they all go well with noodles and beansprouts.

No such thing as a quiet jägerbomb. Sausages (expertly cooked on the BBQ, even if I do say so myself) for me.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Just got in from looking at 3d TVs with my dad. It was more enjoyable than watching England get humped at the cricket (although I did turn one of the TVs in Currys off the tennis and onto Sky Sports to see how we were getting on!) Some of these teles were absolutely unreal though. If he buys one I'm never moving out!
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I hate 3d. 90% of the time, it adds nothing!

It actually often ruins the colour.

It's sort of cool at first, but it's not really too exciting once the novelty factor wears off. Slightly annoying actually.

Well Djokovic finally got over the line but that was a great tennis match. The crowd was firmly on Baghdatis's side.

It really isn't. Go into your favourite electrical retailer and ask to watch for a demo of a film on DVD and one in full HD on Blu-Ray, you'll soon change your mind. It's like the difference between mono and stereo.

Not in the UK it's not. I'll have to wait until it's on the iPlayer.

Thats a pity. In the meantime you can have an eyeful of Wally in his lycra on the video on here
Tony Buckley is some monster on a bike. As for Declan Kidney - no lycra for him

This video was made before Paul died, so its kind of nice the way they are sending messages to him.

Can't wait to see what Miriam says to the lads. She more or less told Alan Quinlan she heard he was a 'ride' (as Gibbo would say) and that they were correct!

WALLY IN LYCRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Note: there really needs to be a drooly smiley on here - going to have to sort that out before the new season...)
Sin - I don't like presenters flirting with the guests it's embarrassing - especially if they look old enough to be their parents.

It was jammed notch. The bridge is really impressive, looking forward to running it. Still a lot of development to do here for the city of culture thing but certainly its starting to take shape a bit and the bridge really links the city. A lot of different nationalities which was great to see.
Couldn't hear a word Enda, Robinson or Mcguinness said due to some terrible sound engineering.

Now Rodders. They're headlining. Chris Martin really pishes me off so I'm not bothering, and there's always a random irrelevant shot of Gwyneth which is just more irritating.

Yeah don't like them much myself and Martin is a pretencious d**k but they have some good songs. They're a bit like snow patrol in that I'd never publically admit to liking them but thankfully this place is anonomous
Hey anything for a glimpse of Gwyneth though...... !

Marky Mark, Mark Wahlburg in some action sheet on film4. Is it any wonder the country is flipped.
Bextor is sexy but I'd spend so much time trying to work out why.
Nottins I'll do it for you, something along the lines of 'ewe-botherers'?
They would probably go for Dragons or Warriors or something like that. I'd go for 2nd XV personally. Why waste brain cells on something which has been around as long as the game. People worry too much about negativity but I have played the odd game for various second XV in my career and that changing room motivates itself.

Laurence Dallaglio thinks that the man he has given the job is the best man for the job - Dai Young is a big loss to the Cardiff Blues
Wales Online is an embarrassment. Almost as much of an embarrassment as the hack from Caerffili who wrote in the Telegraph that the mental health problems Pete Posslethwaite suffered whilst living in Aberystwyth were attributable to the Welsh language.
