The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Possibly one of the most ridiculous scrum penalties I've ever seen.

Finally we've seen the Crusaders up the gears. Maitland offloads to Williams to score.

I think a lot of Sharks fans are going to feel very hard done by with some of the decisions today.

Kia ora mauri ora all, I overslept and missed the 1st 15 minutes
Reading back:
Munsty, you're right about that scrum penalty
Rava, yes. Sorry.
Rev, Staggie is the post prolific rugby poster, and 20th most prolific on the site. He's 16 short of 2000 posts, anyone want to start the sweep on when he hits 2000? And I dropped some £ on your fundraising page too
Right, back to the game. Kia kaha 'Saders!

Ref has been poor, but Sharks have made too many basic errors. Crusaders the better side and deserve the win.

They do Pete but they've certainly shown how to beat this Crusaders side in this match and I think the Stormers will do it in the semi.

Yep, rush defence, hit the defensive rucks hard, and don't kick the ball down to the Crusaders' back 3.

Something needs to be done about speeding refs up at the scrum, tonight's calling was one of the slowest i've heard!
I'd agree, the Sharks showed that you can beat the Crusaders...if you hold onto the ball!!

The whole scrum needs to be changed but it sounds like that is what is going to happen after the World Cup.

Morning All
Really enjoyed the gig last night on telly. So much so I had to stay up until 2am to watch the interviews and highlights I think there was some drunk regs in here last night
Plan for today is pretty much staying in cause the weather's cack, so I'll watch The Sunday Game on the iPlater now, then my Leinster DVD later so that'll pass the time nicely

Bore da pawb (Good morning all) & please
Pishing down here and we have the joys of a visit to the "Store of the " later. Gibbo would be so disappointed According to the BBC, summer will be between the hours of 10:00 to 21:00 tomorrow
What are we all up to today ?

Penfro - I think we had our summer back in 1986. As for the plan today - see above (not much!)
Notch - aye it wasn't. It meant I actually had some important work to do.

Afternoon all
Weather set fair for Wimbledon today, should be some good games. Looking forward to Serena in action again once Rafa finishes the job on court 1.

Just wondered why it's OK for you to wave a flag at the HEC final but you complained about the flags at Glastonbury ? Not having a go, just asking.

Being as you asked, my flag (which I only used intermittently and not when something important was going on) wasn't permanently stuck in the air on a twenty foot pole obscuring TV camera views, that's why I can complain about Glastonbury because I was objecting to the copious amounts of flags on poles stuck fixed right in front of the stage through all performances.

That can be a distraction for him. He needs to get decent jocks to wear under his shorts.

OK. I haven't seen the performance or flags as yet. I didn't realise they permanently satuck in the air. I have on occasion made people put their flags down as they've been obstructing my view at rugby matches. It's a pet hate of mine by some selfish people and don't even start me on air horns.
And breath.

I went to a pub quiz last night so didn't watch any of the performances at Glasto. I did watch a great documentary about Chess Records when I got in, though.
