The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Well done ABs. Totally dominant performance. Smothered them.
Wallabies - too many errors but not disgraced. They'll be back... hopefully.

Why didnt Oz play like that from the start? They could have been so much closer all right T. Well played NZ. Brilliant defence and deadly execution near the OZ tryline.
Have a great day regs... Mon Ireland!

Morning all, managed to catch the last 15 mins of the match. Seems like the AB's were incredible, but glad I got to see Rocky score a try.
Nerves are starting to build for later on today now, going to watch the Wales one online and record the Scotland v Ireland one for later, can't wait!

Penfro, could be a goer. Not due overseas now till November, so I should be alright.
Munster, I take it you'll be rugbyed out come the Wigan game later? I've sky plussed it, but want to watch it live.

Really looking forward to that WC meeting Linebreaker. This game has shown again how beatable Australia are but also how dangerous they are in with the ball in hand, they are simply electric. I can still see the possibility of an Ireland victory but also of us being ripped to pieces too.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Yes rodders, that will be a most anticipated clash.
If Ireland play like NZ did tonight and the Wallabies play catch-up... then sure, you'll come out on top. Good luck tonight, btw.
We'll need to do some fine tuning in SA and back in Brisbane - and get on some sort of roll again.

beautiful countryside, nice wines....
Seriously, we don't play them as much as you guys do but we'll need to be in much better form than tonight, hungry and ruthless... and eliminate all those errors we saw tonight. If we play proper Test/RWC level rugby - we'll smash them. If we hesitate, or don't take them seriously enough - it could be an ugly win or dare I say it - a shock defeat. I'm pretty certain the last scenario won't eventuate though. It shouldn't at least.

Thought the AB's were superb. Amazes me that players like Nonu and Smith have ben prettypoor all season for the 'Canes, then they pull on the black jersey and all of a sudden are just unstoppable.

Look through this. Aussies seriously not happy with their performance. I don't think it was that bad. They played some good rugby that would be close to beating most other teams in the world but the All Blacks are just a different level.

Yeah. I think it showed that they didn't have the extra gear they might have thought they had though. I think they genuinely believed they could match and even better anything the All Blacks could throw at them, that they could be the best team in the world.
Unfortunately, they could not do that this morning.

It's a privately run site which provides a service to us for free on a voluntary basis. The admins (unpaid volunteers) make the rules and the admins appoint the mods (unpaid volunteers) to enforce them.
We give feedback and they take it on board, but ultimately it's their site.

I'm going to guess that it was that the choice was done without the consideration of the rest of the poster. Are you going to add an M to your name now Pete? MLDC doesn't sound so good though.

Afternnon all. Best wishes to the guys and gals 'on tour' in France, and to the new members of 'The Blue Lamp Club'
In England v Wales part 1, it's Ealing 48 - 5 Corus Saints at h/t. Somehow I think part 2 will be somewhat different! Yesterday Paddy Power had England 1/5 and Wales 7/2...whaaat? I told my mate, who likes a punt, to take Wales at that price.
