First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

taking corners at 40mph without checking his mirrors kind of thing.

No wonder you failed Notch, the last thing you want to be doing whilst going around a corner is checking your mirrors!

I assume Jennings will start at 7, instead of Ferris.

I didn't take the test, I only had a few lessons.

It doesn't even say Wallace is definitely out of the France game, though I suspect they'll take the precautions and not play him.

I'd quite like to see that backrow to be honest except I'd pick Ferris at 7 and tell him to hit every ruck and not worry about carrying the ball. His clearing out and counter-rucking would ask as many questions of the French as any classic 7 play.

It's 33-3 to Ireland over Connacht.

Five tries; from Mick O'Driscoll, Leo Cullen, Geordan Murphy, Fergus McFadden and Ian Keatley. Four conversions from Paddy Wallace.

Hurley adds a sixth try after build-up work from Wallace and Murphy, and Wallace misses the conversion.

Final score Ireland XV 38-3 Connacht, for those who are interested in such Hibernocentric matters.
