First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Lionel Nallet photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

that's not even a proper tackle by Tuilagi there.

Hope Wallace is okay, I really do.

Dreamer - it didn't look good, he seemed to know straight away he'd twisted his knee or something. Looks devastated like Jones last week. I hope he's all right and it was one of those looks-worse-than-it-is things. Hug

A few things:

As RTE aren't showing this, what's the score?
I really like Rob Walker.
That athletics presenter is awful.

Erm, Ireland came close to scoring Notch, but they're having trouble keeping hold of the ball. Wally was making great ground for you guys but he's gone off injured.

Trimble and Bowe playing well, ROG too, I do not like this centre partnership of yours though, they are vulnerable.

Scrum struggling a bit too, you guys just need to wake up a bit.

Dave - agree, the presenter is a bit rubbish, but athletics is new to channel 4 so will take them some time I guess to get it right.

Really annoyed with a stupid no-look pass Reddan threw to Murphy at the start of that. Came off, but a stupid risk.

When we get into the 22, I always feel like we're gonna cough the ball up sooner or later.

Half time. I'm sure that Manu's tackle wasn't illegal. The arm was out. It wasn't a Samoan job.

Come on England! Or is Sexton going to give another half time inspirational talk?

Laws as Nottins says is a lump.

O' Gara has been a revelation. Normally... and dont call me Norman, Id be shouting for Sexton on now. Im not. Mcfadden for Dorce.
Really concerned about our backrow now. Wally is gone. Id bet. I pray Heaslip is ok, or we are phooked. Happy with De Fla. Happy with POC. England intensely physical. Its all they have really. But we need it.

Gibbo - Flannery's had a good first half, which is nice to see. Hopefully wally and Heaslip's injuries aren't as horrible as they looked. wally looked so devastated though. Crying or Very sad

Gibbo - agree with you on ROG, POC and Flannery. All having good games so far, Murphy is too. Breakdown has been a worry all match for you guys though, and I can't see it gettning much better in the 2nd half. Big area of concern.

England still struggling to create in the backs. Forwards looking strong, but it may not be enough for them.

Just think my fellow green folk. We were shouting at one another about our epic backrow strength and wrestling for who should start. Wallace looks out, Heaslip limps off, SOB injured and Ferris only a game back.

Shane. Shane. Oi Shane stop you're whinging and pack a bag.
