First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Lionel Nallet photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Yeah, Quins will be disappointed they never really got any continuity going. Some credit has to go to Ulster for their defence but they made a fair few unforced errors as well.

Big mention for 18-year old Peter Nelson, came on for Ulster in the last 10 minutes on the wing- made a try saving tackle on a big Quins backrow in the corner! And he's a Ginger Yahoo

Paid? I flipping wish.

Hiya all. Last night was a killer. We lost, I played ok (great D and counter rucking), but not sure what the craic is for later. Going to work from 3-11am after that was a killer. It's wrecked my body clock now. Hurt my ankle a bit, so if selected I'll be binding it very tightly. Gutted I'm missing the Wigan game (League) and the Tri Nations finalé. Sky plussed though.

Anyway, time to try sleeping again. I love lost causes.

Morning/Bore da.

Also in Herts are Nasty and Hogpits Bottom (where the superb Carpenters Arms is to be found). I used to do a bit of country walking round there.

OK, it was more of an elongated pub crawl Smile.

Morning Publurkers coffee Lovely day in the Welsh capital. Cool

Willy - Penfro's probably put it on his TV guide too, but in my Radio Times it says the Ireland/England match is on Sky Sports 2 from 2:15pm. The BBC are showing the rugby league final this afternoon at the same time. Oh and there's no highlights on the BBC of this England match that I can see listed. Not even on the red button raspberry Hopefully I can watch it online live anyway. It's the Tri Nations on Sky Sports 3...I got them mixed up.

Forsyth Barr Stadium looks good. Will look even better when full. Good noise from about 2/3 capacity. England play Argentina and Ireland meets Italy there.

Greetings pub dwellers. I'd appreciate a pm with a link. Going to watch the match at a friends new house and he ain't got his tv sorted yet. Wifi should be fine though.

Out to play football this am. Cracking day for it to. It's been a while though and I broke into sweat running up 3 flights of stairs at work yesterday. Let myself go... thumbsdown

Just discovered my parents left the house early this morning to head south and GO TO THE GAME! It's not like I could have gone, but it's nice to be at least asked. This changes things, might have the lads round to mine instead now. Decisions decisions...

Harrow - I've seen those lads before at other matches, but the O's aren't playing until the 2nd of September at home, so I'm guessing those lads are just on a day out or something?

That's phenomenal defence by Weepu and Muliaina, but Adam Ashley-Cooper'll be disappointed he didn't score there.
