First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence Wink

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Micky Tikka! Gibbo was in the other night - wouldn't shut up. Must've been on the sauce... Very Happy

How's you anyway? You're like The Scarlet Pimpernel these days. Smile

Dreamer - you still up for going to the Liberty to the West Wales derby in November?

What's a Scarlet Pimpernel? I am guessing someone that doesn't come in too often?

Yeh I am good Cari, the band took up all my summer and now work needs attention for a couple of weeks to get me back on track and then I will be grand./

I have said before though as I don't have a laptop at home, I won't overly get to post much in the evenings unless the mobile version gets released (Which looks like never) and therefore can't use it on the ipad or iphone to any great success like with bbc 606

The Scarlet Pimpernel was basically a very elusive bloke that everyone was looking for and they couldn't find him Smile Glad you're well anyway, nice to see you.

It's a shame about the mobile version - a few people have the same problem. Hope they can sort it soon.

I've just had an email saying 'We miss you on Twitter!' Why does it matter to them how often I 'tweet?'

I'm really not fussed on Twitter. Maybe I'm still not using it properly or something.

I'm not a fan, Cari. You get to read what the people you follow have written, but it's very rare that they say anything interesting or worthwhile. When it comes to 'famous' people, anything interesting they put on Twitter will get into the wider media anyway.

Just settling in to watch the Wales match again now. My flatmate who doesn't particularly like rugby has been raving about Jenks' try so can't wait to see it.

Cari - aye yeah should still be on for the O's v Scarlets, don't think I've too many plans for Nov yet. Tis around the 5th yeah?

Then to that I'd say, forget the gym and just watch the first 20 mins, skip the rest of the first half then watch all the 2nd half. That's where all the tries are anyway Smile

I don't know, obviously there's such a big gulf of class between the two teams it would be better to watch the period where Namibia were in the game! I'm a bit sick of one-sided games, but I'd like to see the tries in any event. Except the Ireland-Russia match, that was ok. How weird I should think that! Whistle Wink

Maybe I'll just watch it later on tonight. I'm exhausted really, I think all these early World Cup mornings are adding up. Good first day getting to know all the other guys on the MA programme before the serious business starts!

that sounds fine Cari, might ask a friend of mine if she wants to come along too if that's okay. Only problem is that she works shifts, mainly on the weekends which is a bummer but she loves her rugby so will be great if she can come along too.

And 6:30 isn't so late, loads of trains between the Diff and Swansea so should all be good Smile

yeah that's around the Dragons v Blues match as well isn't it? think he mentioned something about that anyways. Would be great to go do both I reckon, two Welsh Derby's in one weekend hopefully! Depending when the Drags' match is on anyways.

Ha she's a Turk and also a bit of a Blues fan coz she went to uni in the Diff, loves rugby though, she was the one who watched the Wales v Samoa game with me at half 4, all our other friends thought we were crazy.

Won our game tonight. Much improved performance from last week. My fitness was better. Miss a few good chances. Hit the side net, missed by about 2 inches and hit the bar. Hope I will break the duck next week but if we keep winning then I don't mind. Did get an assist though.
