The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Not unless we got Trimble running at the midfield. I really feel strongly that Trimble and O'Gara should start.

Soft try.
Because any allegation of bias against Italy would surely taint his chances of reffing the final.

Why would he be biased against Italy?
He has no familial connections to the USA as far as I'm aware. And there's been no controversial decisions. He's done quite well.

Is there a match thread for Italy - USA? Hows it looking now? I watched most of the 1st half and it looked like a really good game. The USA certainly weren't rolling over.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Italy lead by 10. As the match goes on, it's clear Italy will win comfortably; despite the USAs industry and commitment they are struggling to get territory and the Italians are dominating the scrum. They're just down to 14. Only so long until the knockout blow is landed.

All of that ignores that it's the players choice who to represent. Any nation with high rates of economic migrants will have dual-qualified players playing overseas.

Bore da pawb / good morning all.
That's quite a generalisation, isn't it? But then I shouldn't be surprised, Irishmen always make generalisations.

Indeed.
Fiji's recent decline IMO has more to do with political problems at home than players opting for other countries.

I've never faniced him Willy, but I can see why others would find him attractive. He is a good looking man. Speaking of which the Namibian team had a couple of tasty players...just saying!
Maybe Parisse will go the way of Elton John and Wayne Rooney...hair transplant...

Maybe if he started walking backwards the wind would blow his hairline forward again over time. He'd develop a receding hairline at his nape, but an upturned collar would deal with that.

I think baldness isn't that big a deal. Often a sign of high testosterone levels! We're men. We aren't meant to be the beautiful ones. Big lumpen creature with a receding hairline and a hairy back, that's a real man
Anyway, Sergio Parisses wife is a 'Miss Europe' or something. So she must be pretty good looking then.
I see Japan and Canada fought out another draw- second World Cup in a row those two have drawn isn't it?

Saw Nick Mallett throwing down the gauntlet to the Irish front scrum; said 'We know we have a better front row'. Will be an interesting battle. I thin we've come on a lot, so long as Healy or Ross doesn't go down injured
