First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence Wink

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I've just been told a local farmer's son has blown himself up I'm a welding machine accident. He was 30 and had a two week old baby.

I don't know if tragic is any better than boring, but I'm off to do some work while I can.

Also, sorry if I offended anyone just now, it was meant to be funny. I've deleted the comment.

I feel sorry for that woman who was jailed because of the power line issue. In the UK this stuff is dealt with like this...

http://www.nationalgrid.com/uk/LandandDevelopment/LO/ElectricityAgreements/

I would imagine a similar system is in place in most EU countries.

I wouldn't necessarily support a Pro 12 team over a Aviva Premiership. It all depends on who takes my fancy at any given time.

From what I'm told the ESB have something similar to an easement on it but the planning application has been rejected. They plane to build the power lines over a few acres of the land and will replat the trees elsewhere but the lady is objecting. I'm surprised she is objecting over a few acres when she has over a 100 acres.

Evening pub, and a fine one it is here in London.

Chef will know this. They bake an open apple tart thingy in France where the apples are glazed. Delicious stuff, but I'm fooked. if I can remember the name of it. Headscratch

It's a bit different though because you bake the apples and then put the pastry on top and bake again and then turn the whole thing upside down.

At least that's the way I know.
