Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Hika Reid, The Beast, Colin Windon, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Its quite nice actually. If done well. Had it in Edinburgh once. Scrummy.
All right me Jock bud? :whiskEy:
Dinner was superb. Im stuffed.
With regard to your breakdown question earlier, As, I think everyone in the vicinity, should be capable of disrupting it. The key, is to get the right numbers there to bate the shoite out of Warburton.
A brilliant natural 7... He made mincemeat out of Burger. Humiliated him.

As good a series as it was glas, I've seen it lots of times.
Oh well, the French at work don't think they have a hope at the weekend, and the Scots hope we both lose.
The kiwis aren't interested if you're not talking about NZ, and how they'll romp it; Carter, or no Carter.
Evening good people. Woss happened to the emoticons? Loads of them are missing

Warburton is a superior 7 to SOB. No discussion. SOB is a 6.5. He is a brilliant 6. But, so is 1F.

Hiya cari. I saw Penfro's message earlier - nice to hear from him. I hope they are having a grand time PM'd him, but he was probably in his gwely.
Your guys are having a good tournament. I've been impressed with how seamlessly players have come in, either as subs or starters and done well.

Totally agree Glas. I will be fully vindicated after all these years. George Hook will be my biatch.
In all seriousness... if Deccie does not have Jenno on the bench - in case all it goes teets-up...
Leamy brings no added-value for this game. Be smart Deccie and have Jenno on the bench. He'll put that upstart Taff in his place. No better man.

You may have missed it, but I tipped a Wales v SA final a couple of pubs back. I see a Welsh squad with good options in every position, and fitness the equal of anyone. At this stage in the tournament the players need to stick to the coaches' game plan. That's what the coaches are there to do - analyse the games and oppo and come up with a plan to win. One game at a time.
I was only half joking earlier when I mentioned 'coping' with this level of the tournament. Neither team have the advantage of of playing on home turf. Big difference to the 6N.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
So having gone for a gym session my rugby captain asks me to play 5 a side for his works team. First action is a foul, next two touches are 2 goals for me and my hat-trick is disallowed.
We lost 14-6 though but was a good craic!!
And when you pick 3 colours for a flag why choose orange as the third colour, surely red and an addition of a dragon is better

Thomond, it's been interesting to hear both Declan Kidney and Alan Gaffney say that Wales were, for a few seasons, an easy team to face because we were predictable - and that now we've changed our approach and aren't half as predictable.

Hound to be honest despite the divisions I wouldn't be surprised if France pulled a performance out of their derrière.
Big calls all over the Irish team. I'd be surprised if Best makes it. ROG/Sexton is genuinely a 50/50 call. Murray starting is a big 'un though. What a year that kid has had.
Wales smells.

You're right Willy, Wales does smell - of daffodils and coal. Maybe a trace of leek.
England v France is a fascinating one. An early English try or a good opening ten minutes and three penalties on the board and France could go to pot. On the other hand, a good start by France, England conceding penalties and Yachvili converting them, France could get their dander up.

Leek or Heather
Daffodils or Clover
Sheep or Leprechauns
David or Patrick
Dylan Thomas or Oscar Wilde
Max Boyce or Dara O'Brien
Valleys or Causeways
There's only one winner in all of them
Some wumming can be quite fun but I don't think i'd risk doing it 'outside'
