Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Hika Reid, The Beast, Colin Windon, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Bad news from a Sarries perspective: our full back and my mate + work colleague has lost sight in one of his eyes from a freak accident in the first league match of the season.....he seems in good spirits but do any regs know where I can find the WRU's insurance policy for him?

Four of the ten most-read stories on the BBC website are about Amanda Knox: 'Knox to fly home after acquittal;' '10 factors that helped Knox's case;' 'What now for Amanda Knox?' and 'World reaction: Knox acquittal.' I ask you.
Good to hear from you, Penfro!

Prop,
That's terrible.
the club should have details about insurance although I can appreciate that the man you need might be away just now.
I see Leonardo Ghiraldini got 15 weeks for his foul play on Sunday.

Yeah MrsP, I said on the thread outside that it seems very contradictory that ban - when you read the officer's comments on it.

Prop - all you need to check is that he is registered to play for you. Then contact the WRU direct and ask for a claim form.

Yeah he is registered....i'm on the comittee so we have contacted the right people I just can't seem to find a ball park amount to look for. We all reckon it'll end up going to solicitors and to the NHS instead because they missed the severity of the injury for 2 weeks!

Apparently the Wales/Ireland QF could be called off for logistical reasons - there's no room for all the caravans in the car park - it could be worse than Dale Farm.

The breakdown used to be the purview of the backrow, but players like BOD have highlighted that the most successful teams have 15 players capable of competing at the breakdown - discuss?

I make it 12 Welsh team appearances in the knockout stages of the HEC in the past 10 seasons compared with 31 Irish team games.

Sorry Thomond!
I still haven't got used to this new fangled thingey.
I still hit the send button and come back 10 minutes later to discover my "words of wisdom" still waiting!
Maybe it has a "Stupid" filter!

Ah no, everyone else keeps this pub going nowadays. Anyway, I'm hoping that I'll be far too busy in my new place to think about surfing the net. If I'm not I don't think I'd get away with it there so I won't be trying either.
