The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of the captains of the World Cup Quarter Finalists pictures on the bar. We've got Sam Warburton, Brian O'Driscoll, Lewis Moody, Thierry Dusautoir, John Smit, James Horwill, Felipe Contepomi and Richie McCaw.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Afternoon.
I won't be watching any WC rugby this weekend;full time catering for hundreds
If my SG predictions come out to be correct, the 7 other players missing from the ASM squad will be back next week, to join the first seven who'll be in training on Monday.
There's no Top14 this weekend either,so there may be a ProD2 match on Sunday pm, but I doubt that I'll have finished le boulot.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
After Ireland won the grand slam I met up with a lad from work and a load of his mates, I was sweating buckets because the pub was wedged and we were dancing around afterwards. As I was talking to one of his mates (this was the first time I met her) she suddenly recoiled and started waving her hand under her nose as if she got a terrible smell. She asked “was that you?” and me (now very conscious of smelling like BO!) said “eh, yeah it might be actually, sorry!” she then grabbed her friend and said “do you smell that too?” suddenly about 10 people are standing around me wafting the BO away from them. I was pretty mortified, so I quickly left the pub, went home, had a shower and headed back into town. I couldn’t find my work pal or any of his friends, but ended up having a good night anyway.
Got back into work on the Monday and he said to me “here, you were stinking at the weekend” I sheepishly acknowledged him as being right but qualified it by saying the pub was a sweatbox and I was wearing a jersey. He said “no, you farted in the pub!”, I hadn’t. but I had inadvertently claimed a strangers fart as my own, and in trying to make up for it, left the biggest session in the city. I’ve not met any of his mates since, probably better off…

Take a look at Banner Michael! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STPiE-HDStw
I don't know if it will be as good but it will still be better than most shows if it was even half as good.

Glas,
This is what I was talking about. The fact that LDPCP was mentioning the England v France game and then you said "as long as we win"
So I was jokingly asking whether the "we" you referred to was England or France.
It wasn't worth it, was it?

I didn't read back far enough. I'd said 'we' twice after that.

It needs success to feed it, Glas. IF... and its a big IF.. Wales go all the way in this gig... watch the whole regional scene in Wales take a Quantum Leap.
There is so much more riding on our game than meets the eye.

I hope they don't apply the rule retrospectively!
Anyway, I think he would be allowed to talk to us Ulster fans so long as he he did so while climbing over seats to punch us!

More of a Felix Jones though I think I'd prefer the Paul Warwick style at times, coming in at first receiver where possible.
