The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the life size photo of Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Love Tin-Tin. Huge part of my childhood. 1st books I ever read. Joy.
Must go and see it. I trust Spielberg not to phook up the essence of it all. The trailers look brilliant. Enjoy it Munsty and report back.

Hardly had a strenuous World Cup have they playing a weakened Aus side, a toilet USA side, Russia or whoever it was, an Italian team that thought they were playing touch rugby and a sensational Welsh side that gubbed you.
In all seriousness they've had 2 weeks rest now haven't they? Less than the Englanders.
Hi all. Won't be on here much now. Seriously cutting my Internet back before I go away. Spend my spare time wisely.

Evening all
Love the tin tin books, read them all as a kid. Don't go to the cinema often, but may go and see that, you'll have to let me know if it's any good Munsty.

Harrow - cheers. The people I've met so far seem to be a tidy bunch
Munsty - enjoy your film tonight.
Risca - your absense has been noticed in here. Hope all's well and you're ready to head off.
Gibbo - there's an interesting article here about your bible...

Cari,
I bought that book in London in the 70's . It was banned in Ireland.
Some of the positions were taking de pish. But had a go anyway.
Also loved the bushy bits. Wimmin with hairy-armpits.

Cheers Gibbo and Cari.
I don't read back nowadays so don't know what's what as such, but Best of luck with the work Cari, wherever you decide to go to.
Off to a mates now. Stopped playing last weekend till I'm back, as I can't risk losing the money I'll save from being away. Bit of a nause when I'm fit, but for the best.
See you all as soon as possible.

Nah, might not have, boss. I'm a weird mix - both parents were island highlanders (Lewis & Iona), partly spoke Gaelic to each other (v soft accent), and then I grew up from 2 in Stirlingshire not far from Loch Lomond - Scottish Heinz!Ozzy3213 wrote:I'm sure you've probably told me that before As, got a memory like a sieve sometimes.

Nah Glas.
Just hope he doesn't over-do it US style. They are not too bright and need everything explained to them - ad-nauseum.
Thus, losing a childlike use of imagination. Now that's racism.
He is the man for the job. Ive no doubt. He has a childlike mind. I trust him.

Evening all. I'm loving Frozen Planet too. Even if it is punctuated by the sound of an awful lot of fireworks outside. Gotta love Diwali, the sulphur in the air outside reminds me of Rotorua.
