The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the life size photo of Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Allo, allo all.
Apparently Wasps got a win at Wuss. Chuffed with that .
I was going over to Barking to watch Ealing tomorrow, but West Ham are at home. I don't fancy sharing a District Line carriage with that lot!
"Woss that shirt you got on there mate?" "Fackin' Ealing, you West London caaant." "Have some of this!!"
TV rugby in The Wheatsheaf for me then
Plus there's no decent pubs in that part of East London

I need medical advice, is MrsP about at all? (I'm sat blydi waiting for nhs direct to call me back as my mam couldn't diagnose me over the phone like she usually can )
Have woken up with a rash on my face, I'm completely pink from my cheekbones down to my jaw, tis like I've got really bad sunburn, NOT GOOD.
At least I will match my rugby shirt later when I head off to Y Parc I guess......
And bore da pawb, hope everyone is set to have lovely days

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
ha, not quite that pink!
and doctors aren't open on sats (plus I'm not registered with a surgery anyway)
I feel okay apart from a really sore throat but I've had that all week coz of a bug going around work. It's more irritating then anything else!
and argh it's just started raining, hope it isn't raining in Llanelli

Dreamer - it could be anything from an allergic reaction to an infection. I think calling the NHS Direct is probably the best option. They're usually very good.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
yeah well I called them an hour ago and they said they'd give me a ring back in about an hour and a half so I'll see waht they say. Doubt it's an allergic reaction though, don't think I'm allergic to anything at all (apart from this one plant but I haven't been near one in years so I know it's not that!)
Looking forward to the rugby now though, off to get a train at 12.
Saw part of the O's game last night but we had it on mute so I couldn't hear what the commentary team was saying, but did they talk about Richie Gray's try at all? we were all convinced in the house that he'd dropped it.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Dreamer - Grey's try was spot on. He got it down before he lost control of it, so it was a try. The O's were poor last night to be honest - well not so much individual players, I thought the substitutions that were made just into the second half were odd and bhuggered things up a bit, and as usual poor discipline let them down. They just never recovered from the Hibbard binning which cost them 13 points. Hopefully they'll make up for this next week (sorry!)
