The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the life size photo of Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I don't know yet. May do some volunteering somewhere if I can. Depends on what time off I can get in my new post as well.
I've only done the rugby internationals on SG. The RWC gave me my best score ever though - I was in the top 4% so I was chuffed with that. I never do the picks seriously, most of the time I just guess!

I honestly think that's the best way to go with the picking Cari!
ah yeah your new job, have you got a start day for that yet?
Ah cool volunteering would be brilliant, I know Cardiff is pretty good with having lots of things on so should be pretty easy to find something

No start date yet...I'm hanging on to hear from the second job. I should be starting somewhere by December I'd say.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Dermatological disaster. The fake blood and glow in the dark face paint I applied vigorously over myself has had a bad effect on my complexion. A girl literally just said to me wow your face is really red it's warm in here isn't it. I took that as a que to escort her outside. When I did she repeated her opening gambit. Wow your face is really red. She took a picture to show me. Alergic reaction to face paint. Gone from a blood thirsty zombie to zombie with sensitive skin. The girls done a bolt now and all...

Morning So much for the extra hour in bed...my body didn't know that.
Willy - I have to admit I laughed at your post last night....not at your misfortune as such, but that post made me Reminded me of something Mickado would've posted about two years ago on old 606.

I'm watching last night's Connacht game cause I missed it when it was live. Niall O'Connor What is it with Ulster producing cute players?
Did anyone see that Laughs in the Park gig on BBC 2 last night? Ross Noble's skit about Bono at Glastonbury was very funny.

It's de Soup Cari.
Well I had a marvellous time in Dubland last night (you don't hear that often)
Drawing with 40 seconds to go and snatch a goal to win the title. Not a bad day out! I used the extra hours sleep to my advantage!

Afternoon,or whatever time you have.
Went to see Agen/Montpellier last eve, don't bother to try and watch it,18-12 kicks all round, dour defences.
Weekend dampened by the HORRIBLE accident to Thomas Domingo;that's both knees Phookt;if you can get to see the images, DON'T...gruesome..
Trying to decide if I should go and watch Mezin vs St Livrade this afto, or stay at home and watch Beziers/Narbonne on the box;when you think that 20 years ago these two clubs were vying for the Brennus(USB-RCN, that is ), now they're fighting to stay in ProD2!!!

Afternoon all
grey and miserable here today, the sort of day that just makes you feel gloomy. That said, I'm looking forward to chicken kebab skewers with jacket potato and salad for my dinner tonight, so it's not all bad.

I saw that T. Fantastic and no more than you deserve, in supporting your IRISH soccer team, come rain, hail or shine.
Cork should always have a team in the top division. Too many Dub teams in it as it is.
Anyway man.

Howya. I read about that Gibbo. The repeat was on last night but I missed it because it was very late. I'll try and catch it this week sometime. Supposed to be amazing drama.
Non Evans presenting on here. She should know her stuff having played for Wales, but those pencilled on eyebrows and nasty corn rows in her hair must go. She looks like a chav.

Ah cool I'll keep an eye out for it then.
And yeah the rash has gone now pretty much although my face is still a bit itchy. My mam is convinced I had slap face syndrome (which is apparently real, I had to google it as I didn't believe her!). Thing is only children are supposed to get that, but I really did have all the symptoms. Weird.
Sore throat gone now as well, and so's my headache so looks like I'm almost completley better
Almost shepherds pie time for me, am starving.

Slapped Face Syndrome? still, at least it's going now. I think some illnesses can still appear in adults, especially if they've never had it before - like measles and things.
