The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly retired Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.
Also a special picture of Thomas Domingo and wishing him all the best on a speedy recovery.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Luckless, playing Quins and Brive last year felt just as exciting as the Heienken Cup (think I was in denial and refused to accept we were in the baby competition).

Mick,
How do you see your game against Montpellier going?
I’m a bit nervous about it Munsty, I was looking at their league position but I won’t take too much from that, they seem to be really geared up for their first HC appearance, just check out their website!
http://www.montpellier-rugby.com/
The battle of the backrows will be worth the admission price I think, it could be a good tussle but as per, I’d take a 0-3 win away in France any day!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I watched the Brive v Munster match last season, it was a great game, though perhaps not from a defence coach's point of view.
I do actually like the Heineken Cup, even though I have to watch the matches on my fliptop.

Mickado, I'm certain that we could do with some help getting tkts, so any that you can sort out your end would be fantasticMickado wrote:Ah I know, Kennys really in the wars. I'd be bitching And moaning if I was in his shoes, he's a very patient patient by the sounds of it!
I won't be making the trip to Barf I'm afraid, I can't answer for MickyT but I'd say he's the same. If tickets become a problem though, let me know I might be able to do something from my side

We're quite the networkers. Thats the beauty of rugby - it opens so many doors.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Grand idea Stag! Why didn't I think of that? I'm only a 40 or 50 minute drive away depending on traffic, and how heavy I am with my right foot We'll definitely meet up in Chester

Just so everyone is aware,
Bath v Leinster is sold out, kia has a certain number of tickets (dont know how many) and asbo managed to pull two from somewhere this morning, so we Defo have two tickets

Just read on Rugbyrama that D. Armitage has been suspended for the 4th time this season;surely a mistake,he was in NZ,wasn't he? Perhaps 4th time this calendar year, which must, in any case, be an inglorious record, even Cudmore doesn't get that!!!

What was it for this time, Chef? Another cheap shot? If so, it's frustrating to see from a player who's very good when he sticks to the actual rugby.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I said it on facebook, I don't want to go if a Leinster fan is missing out. I'd love to see the game but if needs be we can have pints and pub grub instead.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Huggy - I'm happy to watch it in a pub (as long as I'm not on my own) and herself has said "Don’t get me a ticket for Bath – Leinster, I’m going shopping!"hughie1986 wrote:So that puts us up to 10

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
yeah what Penfro said, am happy with the pub.
And you will not believe what has just happened!
Am out, walking in the horrible drizzle of my lunch break to go and buy some food, when I see this rather attractive bloke coming up the street about to walk past me and it's only Stephen Jones!! STEPHEN JONES!!
He's even more wonderful up close :swoon:
Got the stupidest grin on my face. Ridiculous a rugby player can have this effect on me.
