The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly retired Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.
Also a special picture of Thomas Domingo and wishing him all the best on a speedy recovery.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

No worries hughie. If you can make it, grand. If not we'll get the London regs together for a pre- Christmas libation.

Cheers Rava, I'm ready for a couple. Spent most of the day preparing for my consultation at work tomorrow. I'm armed and ready, bring 'em on!
Well there's plenty of people to help LB if you can make the trip.

Thanks Swanny... we would have many laughs that's for sure!
Did you find that document which had the info on your entitlements?
Best of luck with the 'consultation' - a few bullets to start; save the big ammo if/when you need it.

That's for definite, laughs is something we do very well
Yeah I've found a couple of useful documents. I've also found one major discrepancy between what they said to me and what is in their own documentation. I shall enjoy querying that. But you're right, I shall keep the big stuff up my sleeve for the time being.
Thanks Rava, I think they're expecting me to just go quietly. Wrong!
Hughie, no problem, just let me know.

He plays like I'm reliably informed my Dad used to before his untimely retirement.
He looks like a cross between Tommy David and Jason White on speed.

That should be a good match, Asbo. I heard James Hook was man of the match for Perpignan on his debut, even though they lost.

My mistake, he wasn't man of the match, but he played well by the sounds of it:

Estonia v Ireland in the football tonight, I hope that the pubs will be showing the Connacht match too, small screen at the back would do like. But I can’t see it happening.
This week has been a big galoot, can’t wait for the weekend, which starts at noon for moi, half day (as Alan Partridge would say) “CASH BACK!”

Morning All
I'll be glad to get out of here. I'm so bored it's unbelieveable. I'm also uber p*ssed off that the expenses they owe me haven't been paid yet - it's not much but that's not the bloody point. Unlike some people I'm claiming legit expenses!

Lucky - it's embarrassing. I know he used to be a variety performer, but honestly whoever told him the new stuff is great was desperate or deaf. It's like a bad pub singer meets your grandad in the bath. I've turned the radio off for a bit...

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I had an epiphany last night and I realized why Ricky Gervais is a tool. It’s probably not news to anyone else but I was so happy when it finally dawned on me.
He thinks everyone wants to know about famous people and the things that go on behind the scenes on a tv show. But we don’t. he’s still funny, but he thinks the world loves him and is really interested in him.

Yes Mickado, he's an egotist. That's why his stand up isn't funny for a start. He doesn't have the personality to do stand up.

I think some of the success in the TV Gervais has done is owed to Stephen Merchant's writing isn't it?
Oh and Seona Dancing were sh*t. Even for an '80s pop group.
