The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly retired Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.
Also a special picture of Thomas Domingo and wishing him all the best on a speedy recovery.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I have to share these Murray Mexted quotations, courtesy of chewed_mintie:
"As you know, I've been pumping Marty Leslie for a couple of years now."
"I haven't had a knee operation on any other part of my body."
"Spencer's running across field calling out, 'come inside me, come inside me.'"
A Sky TV producer was conducting a sound test before the last Springbok test at Carisbrook...
"Murray can you hear me?....Murray can you hear me?" Murray: "No."
"And he kicks it with his left-handed foot"

I'll try again and see if I get much of a response in here. I'm being ignored by those I've worked with for the last eight years by email anyway. Still, not long to go before I'm outta here for good. Bored out of my f*cking mind here now too. It's extremely frustrating.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Week today is my last day Dreamer. That's a half day too. I've got some leave then before I start at the new place a week Tuesday. I really can't wait. Have been feeling like a spare part here since August. Sounds lovely to some people, but after a while it gets you down. You know, I haven't even had an email from my (still present) boss about my move, asking how I'm doing or nothing.
I suppose I should make the most of my time on here because I won't be posting once I start the new job much.

Yeah it seems much better. I met a few of the people who are there when I was interviewed, they showed me around. It's also very busy which is good and will keep me occupied.

On your last day bring in a big cake . . . . . .filled with laxatives and steal all the loo paper.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Cari, I was the same when I was waiting to leave my post. No longer required so why bother communicating. Mind you I'll be four years away at the end of the year and my old boss has yet to contact me and ask how I'm getting on. Just keep smiling and walk out the door next Friday with your head held high.

Staggy - all that's left of my colleagues are London based bar one with me. Besides, I wouldn't waste the money buying a cake at all. It's cool. Me and my colleague here are going for food on Thursday (she's off Friday) so that'll do me.
Rava - oh yeah, I'm not going to gripe about it, just thought it was a bit off considering they only had to click "reply".

The consultation went well all things considered. I did rather enjoy pointing out the ambiguities in their documentation And the difference between affected and effected.

Ask people to make a roll call in here just so you can definitely be sure (but I don't need one, got my season one).

Right, tickets running out fast for the Scarlets Munster match
I've taken an executive decision in conjunction with Dreamer. She is sorting the Stand tickets, I am sorting the terrace. I have booked 8 for
Hughie
Aonghus
Gibbo
Chef
Lucky
Asbo
Kiwi
Me
If you are not on that list and expected to be get in touch quick, the terrace will be sold out by Monday and you'll have to have stand tickets behind the posts - fine for the connoisseur of backplay like myself but not so hot on atmosphere or bars.

Thomond - you need to get on board big time with the meet ups.
Tomorrow get yourself up to Thomond for the Munster v Saints game.
Or take my spare Scarlets v Munster ticket. Fight to Cardiff is €20. Bite the bullet.

Yea true, I've no say in it til now anyway. I get them through Munster branch. They get what tickets they can and pass them on. I'm guaranteed my ticket but don;t know where.
Trying to convince the girlfriend that we need to get a curry and alcohol tonight. She's working at 9am doesn't seem too convinced. The night is young however!!!!
