First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing pictures of Shane Williams above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

It was just a wonderful moment, the kind of moment that reminds you of what rugby is all about. I think everyone wanted him to get that try. Even the Aussie players wanted him to get that try Smile

Yeah mrsP I reckon that was really good what Deans did with that jersey which no player had worn. I know it was just a perfect ending, good so see a welsh team with a few '2nd' players doing well

What do players do with all those jersey swops?

Do they take them home and wash them or keep the "as is"?

I suspect those tackle attempts by Anthony Fainga'a and Berrick Barnes may be the amongst the ones they regret least in their careers!

I witnessed the "Welcome" the small travelling contingent of Scarlet fans gave him last night so I can just imagine what it will be like when he gets to Wales.

If he gets to Wales!!!!

Shocked

By the way, I think I saw my first Sparkly Red CowGirl hat at Ravenhill last night!

Very strange.

And NO it was not being worn by a local

Prop, I made a kick ROG would have been proud of today. Got it to bounce so the winger had to play it and so he could get smashed into touch by our players. Think ROGs kick in the last minute today.

Speaking of today's Wales match, was anyone else embarrassed by Eddie Butler's attempt at creating rugby rhyming slang by referring to the TMO as The Tommy Bowe? It also gave me heart attack...! Rolling Eyes

Well I hope the kits don't run in the HC matches or there'll be pink everywhere, like an accident in a sugar candy factory, after the floss is spun of course it's more a red colour when in liquid form.

Evening Cari!

I thought for a millisecond that he meant OUR Tommy!

Notch,

You've met us both.

Would you mind telling that nasty Prop fella that I am NO WHERE NEAR as old as Rava and Gibbo!!!

In fact, I was still at primary school when they had left the education system!

Erm

Unless they are both very slow learners.

Nah mate, would never go for it in a free choice. Least favourite chocolate bar.

But then again, you have to think that the term 'least favourite chocolate bar' is kind of like 'worst orgasm' or "least prestigious award". If you find yourself being given a chocolate bar, orgasm or award... well it's better than most things even if it's not the one you wanted!
