The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Chris Paterson, Steve Thompson and Jonny Wilkinson above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Breaker - tis a tought one to call. Full strength I would say the Scarlets would win (we've beaten them in the last 7 league meetings) but this is definitely a 2nd string side. Our back 3 is very vulnerable to I expect Tovey to really target us.
Some of our up and coming players like Murphy and Warren though are in really good form so it could be close. Heart says Scarlets by 5, head says Dragons by about 8 I reckon.

Yes, I think I made a big blue with tipping the Blues. Heart tipped them (because of Michael Paterson connection) but my head says the Os will have a good dig at them at home.
I barely know the names of all the players... let alone their current form and who's in and who's out. But your posts (and Glas' and the local Welsh & Irish regs) give me a greater insight - which is very helpful.
It's like learning Arabic - but it's much more fun...

So thats why they added the bulletproof windows Stag? This is one area where Munster are really lagging behind Connacht. Check out the Camouflage pattern on the Connacht coach. No-one is going to see that thing coming!

It'll be good for Tavis, Glas I think.
Breaker - ha yeah, bet it must be strange picking up all the new names! Probs doesn't help when posters like me just refer to them by their nicknames either

Breaker, if it helps the Blues are pants and the Ospreys are pants, however the Ospreys are slightly less pants and at home. Blues losing bonus point is my prediction.

GLAS - the drive like Kumquat because Mummy's little princess is behaving like a spoilt and distracting them. Good marketing mind, can't see there being much demand for "Spolit, overindulged brat on board" stickers
DREAMER - with regard to Tavis. Could be a good thing, plenty of rest and recuperation = come back refreshed and pushing for a place on the summer tour. He has been so off form recently he's made Kahn Photoshop (he's about as quick as a blydi photo !!!) look almost average
BREAKER - I have a bad feeling about the Blues game. The O's have been playing like a complete bag o' sho!te, since ? Well since the 'stars' came back Your prediction could well be correct

I was living West, so had to cross Hagley Park and on out past the University.
Memorial Drive and around Ilam?
Yep. We were near the Maidstone Rd/Avonhead Rd junction

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Rumour alert: Apparently Matthew Rees and Rhodri Jones have been cited for a dangerous tackle on Ryan Jones from the match on Monday. Anyone recall seeing anything, because I (with my poor, blinkered Scarlet vision), can't remember seeing any dirty play anywhere??

Yeah, they picked his legs up, but kept him under control I thought. Unless it was when they dropped him from the line out

Hmmm, well seeing as Gough has been banned for 3 weeks for a tackle I still can't recall seeing, doesn't sound good for our two if it's true they've been cited

Fella goes to the doctor with a bad back..
Doctor asks "How did you do it?"
Bloke replies "Having sex doggy-style"
Doctor says "Try having sex the normal way"
Bloke says " I have, but the dog keeps licking my face"

This Christmas, I volunteered to do a stint in a soup kitchen. At closing-time they get quite resentful when you say "Come on! Some of us have homes to go to"

True story
Cornwall. The village policeman was eating his tea and heard noises from the garden of the police house, he went outside and saw the village idiot shagging a sheep. Upon arrest herbal cannabis was found in his pocket. He was charged with bestiality and possession of cannabis. His reply to caution: "don't tell my mother about the cannabis"

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
A husband and wife need a holiday and the hubby suggests that they put £20 in a jar every time they have sex. The wife thinks this is a great idea and agrees.
After two months hubby checks the jar and says "What's this?" "There's £700 pounds in here!"
His missus says "Yeah."
"Not everyone's as stingy as you."

Evening all,
Hound, did Wasps actually sign Ed O'Donaghue? It was reported a while back but I don't see him on your "Players" list and seeing you have now signed Du Plessis reminded me about him?
