First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Chris Paterson, Steve Thompson and Jonny Wilkinson above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I confronted them with the truth.

I said that Whitten should leave Ulster and join Munster as he could play with a better team. Lots of Ulster posters discussed the idea of the move. When I pointed out that none of them batted an eyelid at the suggestion Munster were a better team they all said that in a full strenght head to head they'd expect Munster to win.

I love the truth*

As long as my post was delivered Wink If you arte looking for a new w/m you'd do a lot worse than these guys LINK. Just up the road and they offer FREE Delivery and Installation and I quote "We're confident we have the very best deal, but if you think one of our competitors has, call us today on 02920 231166 and we'll match their offer. Penfro - oh yes, she still did her round, just got diverted from one road cause the power lines were down and the rozzers wouldn't let anyone through. It's up to my landlord what happens - he might get a whole new washer (hopefully) or get someone to have a look at it first.

Got the new Rugby World mag. There's good photo spread in there about the weather coincidentally...has some great photos of extreme weather at rugby matches. Also they look at who can replace Shane, and interviews with Matt Rhys and Ianto. Not bad bedtime reading I suppose.

A man with a winking problem is applying for a position as a sales representative for a large firm. The interviewer looks over his papers and says, "This is phenomenal. You've graduated from the best schools; your recommendations are wonderful and your experience is unparalleled. Normally, we'd hire you without a second thought. However, a sales representative has a highly visible position and we're afraid that your constant winking will scare off potential customers. I'm sorry ... we can't hire you."

"But wait," he said. "If I take two aspirin, I'll stop winking!"

"Really? Great! Show me!"

So the applicant reaches into his jacket pocket and begins pulling out all sorts of condoms: red condoms, blue condoms, ribbed condoms, flavoured condoms; finally, at the bottom, he finds a packet of aspirin. He tears it open, swallows the tablets and stops winking.

"Well," said the interviewer, "that's all well and good but this is a respectable company and we will not have our employees womanising all over the country!"

"Womanising? What do you mean? I'm a happily married man!"

"Well then, how do you explain all these condoms?"

"Oh, that," he sighed. "Have you ever walked into a chemists winking, and asked for aspirin?"

While it was wet and windy here inondon earlier, it was. a mere breeze compared to what hit most of the regz Shocked

I've got a day off tomoz to sort a few things out. Looking forward to that Smile

Condensation on the ball can be a bit of a problem with the lid closed but if they have grow lamps sure grass growth shouldn't be an issue? They could look at teams across the water in America where there are many indoor stadiums with grass. I know cost would be a big issue but I'm surprised there are not many stadiums with retractable roofs in Europe.

We have 3 wheelie bins at home, rubbish, recycling and garden waste, and the wife phoned me at work earlier to say that they were all over and down the road. She went out and put them back in our garden and weighted them down but obviously not enough as she's phoned again to say that one is over and off and she's not bothering to retrieve it yet as she has nothing to weight it down with and it is still really windy!

aaaaargh stupid fuse box steam

Got back to the flat and it had tripped, thought it was just my bedroom light so changed that, all the lights working, sorted.

then the tv wouldn't work, the heaters won't work, the sockets aren't working and the RDC switch had tripped. We've figured out that it's the bathroom radiator that's causing it to do it, but am a bit worried about going near the bathroom now as it means a current isn't earthed properly (I think!).

Tured the bathroom radiator off and everything else is working okay, tis all a bit worrying though. Going to have to have a shower in a freezing room now later (that is if I'm brave enough!)
